Awwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww! ME TOO - going from April 3-10...can hardly wait

I'm gonna have Tim horton's coffee and donuts, Schneider's weiners and bologna and if you're from kitchener Waterloo - I am So going to Vincenzo's for a good sandwich at lunch!!!

now wen I come back to virginia - I'll have to go ona diet - but who cares :)

Oh yeah, gotta hit up Timmys! And Montreal bagels, I miss the delicious crisp crunch of bagels there.... I hear you about the diet, I already have lunch/dinner dates lined up, when I come back I'll be extra good but I'll enjoy myself while back home!

AWWWWWWWWWWWW. When are you leaving, Jill? I've got tickets booked for May 8th so I can be there for Mother's Day. I really wanted to drive but the tickets were so darned cheap it would have been stupid of me. Instead I am flying into Buffalo and my Mum and my daughter and my cousins are coming to get me and then we are staying the weekend and going shopping! Just like old times! :) :) :):luv:

Krikit, I'm driving to Oakville on Thursday.... stay for the weekend, then take the train to Montreal to see my Dad.... stay a few more days, take the train back to Oakville, see my Mom a bit longer then drive home! I should be gone close to 2 weeks total. I checked flights but they were pretty expensive since I was checking last minute, but I really don't mind the drive at all! I find it relaxing. So excited!!

That is so great. It's been 3 months since I saw my baby girl and I'm so ready for another visit. I think if I don't have a job by Easter, I may drive up then and surprise her. Hubby won't be able to come with me then but it will be ok. It won't be the first or the last time I make that trip by myself. Besides, we've only been apart 2 nights since we got married 9 months ago.

April 13, 2009 - Welcome to the USA letter rec'd. PRC to be rec'd within 3 weeks.

April 16, 2009 - 2 yr GC rec'd in mail.

Have fun Jill!!

My love for today is that my visa came! I wasn't here, so it's at the Post Office, but at least it came!

I'm not moving until June - but it's such a nice feeling to be done done done for a few months.

I also found my wedding dress on Saturday!!! It's for my Sept 2010 wedding, but I'm pretty sure it's the "one" so I'm excited. Will keep me motivated to lose another 10 pounds!

Removing Conditions

I thought we didn't require our passports when lifting conditions? Or are you referring to something else?

Yes - I'm referring to the fact that I need better glasses lol . I have been so worried that at the end of this year not only will I be removing conditions here, but I'll be trying to get a new Cdn passport around that same time!

Now since it's actually a year later, I will only have to handle 1 mess at a time :)

I'm nota big fan of flying.... not that I'm scared, I don't mind the actual plane part. What I don't like is having to put my little makeup stuff and face cream in baggies, having to take my shoes off through security, dealing with delays and those tight seats.... I have a bit of a germaphobe problem and the recirculated air on planes scare me.... plus those washrooms AGGGHHH!! I'd rather throw all my stuff in the backseat, not worry about packing restrictions, put on my tunes, and enjoy the ride!! :D
