I will definately cross my fingers that the cake faeries find you an opening. I'm sure you will absolutely love the things you will learn there. I found out I love fondant and hate icing....unless its like star piping a cake. Icing roses don't like me too much.

I love that you spelt that "faerie". LOL

Hubby sends you flowers at work and they are really very beautiful :luv:

Awwwwwwwwwwwwww. :luv:

Uhh my husband never attacks me for the record. Its usually just lame things so everyone knows... usually after a busy week at work and he hasn't been home for dinner at all. Small stuff.

I don't want people getting the wrong idea is all. :P

Sorry. I just found that amusing that we may jump to that conclusion. lol

Well I don't know if anyone would have. I certainly don't want people to think that after eman shared her story.

I'm just a cyncical person is all. But it doesn't translate well online.

My ex pushed me once and I pissed in his boots.

True story... and perhaps too much information as well.

So sorry but I felt the need to share.

I am sitting here thinking about editing that. But at the same time I think: "Who cares!"

Yes... who cares.

Now I have to admit, that is quite creative. However, I also must admit that the first image that popped into my head was of Mel doing that to me. Not that I would do anything that would merit that, just the thought of it made me almost fall over laughing.

They were his 300.00 boots. He was a goth and those boots were his PRIZED possession. Truth is, I couldn't figure out a better way to get even than to piss in the one thing he loved the most. They were BUTT UGLY boots though. Fack.

Well, 2 1/2 weeks less than a year after I sent in my I-751 application I am finally approved for my 10 year green card! Yay! On to citizenship now - the window opens in 2 weeks. I'm still waiting for tax transcripts from the IRS so it will be a few days after the anniversary but finally, good news! I was so very discouraged about all of this last week and wrote my Senator asking for his help. They made the inquiry this Monday (I wrote them Friday), and today I get my approval. I think it helped even though we were already in the window - their inquiry got the file off of the desk where it was acting like a paper weight.

“...Isn't it splendid to think of all the things there are to find out about? It just makes me feel glad to be alive--it's such an interesting world. It wouldn't be half so interesting if we knew all about everything, would it? There'd be no scope for imagination then, would there?”
