I am sorry Estadia. I hope you and your fiance will get the good news very soon. Geez! Almost a year is too much time already for non-stop reviewing of your papers for giving you their APPROVED decision.

I am hoping for your approval very soon. Good luck estadia. VJ is here for you, to help you keep holding on and help you be stronger with the waitings.

Sara,

Just to let you know that Mercedes and I are rooting for you and first thing everyday, at home or at work, we check Igor's list to see if there's any progress on your case.

I feel bad shouting about our interview etc when you are stuck in a bad place. If I had thought of it, the run up to the Oregon primaries was the right time to contact Obama or Clinton. Hell, McCain will be looking for any support he can get in the valley so would be only too happy to help no doubt. Call his election headquarters.

Clinton Office in Oregon: Phone: 503.227.0269

Barack Obama: 866.675.2008

John McCain: 703.418.2008

Call Oprah's show, call the Washington Post, see if there's any watchdogs for the Immigration services and keep knocking on doors. I would imagine that a 'No' would be better than a 'Maybe' at this stage, for your mental state as much as anything ... and it's freakin' sad it's come to that, isn't it?

oh plz dont ever feel bad anyone about being happy and shouting ur wonderful news really it makes me feel better seeing that others are getting someplace in this jungle of a system that we have in the USA regarding immigration issues.........

thank you very much for all ur support and the numbers i will be calling them as soon as their offices are open at first i was afraid to do anything because i felt it might hurt us and tick them off to the point that they would deny us but to tell u the truth at this point even a denial would be better than sitting in the dark wondering this or that and never getting a decision.........

u know most people never feel the need to contact their elected government officials but someplace in the back of ur mind u believe that if the need should ever occur that they will be there for u.....

.i think that many have forgotten that it is the little people that put them in office to begin with .......and that family values and problems are something that should be dealt with as strongly in their occupation of their governmental seat as fighting for rebuilding of bridges or social security issues in our case it goes past that in our area there are not a great many doctors that are willing to work in the rural areas and serve the poor at the clinics .........

he is not just a person that would make my life complete but also an asset to our community

oh man i better get off my soap box lol im just so ticked off right now that i could go on forever and im sure that would bore everyone to death lol

but really thanks for ur support and i wish u the best u guys all of u are the greatest

Everybody loves you, Sweetie. Remember that. Si, man.

I was going to suggest contacting the media. If you make it into print or onto the airwaves, get copies of what is produced, and send them all over the place.

KEEP CALLING those CSC bastards DAILY. They ARE bastards, and I won't apologize for saying it. Call everyone else daily, too. The squeaky wheel gets the grease.

The one who speculated about age was probably trying to be helpful, but that won't hold water. The legal age of consent to marry without ANYONE'S permission in most states is 18. Furthermore, according to the March 2006 "Current Population Survey" by the U.S. Census Bureau, 53.7% of U.S. husbands are older than their wives, so you would be comfortably fitting in with that prevailing demographic.

What makes me maddest of all is that all the Illegals in the country are laughing their heads off at all of us, and the laughing started the instant our I-129f packages hit the outgoing mail. But, back to all of us here: One of the great American patriots said "If we do not all hang together, we shall surely all hang separately." Rely on the strength that you can get from us, Sweetie. Si, man!

hug9.gif Oh Sara, i'm so sorry hon.

Ok..well I suggested this to sara in PM and i'm not sure it would even make a difference, but i'm going to throw it out there to get your opinions....

I was thinking that if I drafted a template letter on sara & perviz's behalf we could all perhaps copy and paste it in an email to her senator's, congressmen, attorney...and anyone else who might listen. Having a larger voice can sometimes move mountains. ;)

I do realize they claim she/he is in name/security checks...etc..and that we must be diligent as a nation when it comes to this but a year is ridiculous! Perviz is not in a safe area in India and she has already spent weeks worrying if he is even dead or alive. I know there are horror stories all over and that their are others who have waited even longer in AP but Sara is one of us. Always here to offer her support and congrats. I would love to be able to do something on their behalf and i'm sure many of you would agree...

Man do it. Let me know if I can help in anyway. :)

Gimme a shout if I can do anything too - it's wrong that you should have to wait so long :( *hugs*

Sara,

I fell so bad knowing you've been waiting all this time with still no approval. I havn't gone back to look at some of the old forums to see how everyone's doing. I was so mad last year when after we finally got our NOA2 in Oct, that they admitted they lost our paperwork...CSC claiming NVC lost it and NVC claiming they couldn't lose something that they never received from CSC..what a mess!

I agree with some other posters that you should contact the media. I used to have friends that worked at the Oregonian, so I'll contact them to see if there are any other avenues that you take. My brother knows someone who works as a reporter for one of the local tv stations. He's out of town until Tuesday, but I'll ask him if he can help.

Keep your spirits up..I know that's easier said than done, but your VJ family here really cares and will be dancing with you when you get that long awaited NOA2.

Keep me posted and take care!
