the keep sticking us back into security we pass security an adjuster gets it and sends it back or sends it to the supervisor for extra review........and then the supervisor sends it back to security the only thing that is bad on there is he was engaged once before and the girl made a mess but that was before he met me we been together over three years.........i have seen others on her get approved even with a previous engagement..... all issued were covered in the cover letter when sending in the application.......neither one of us are criminals one lady said ur case keeps being passed around maybe its ur age compared to his (he is 33 im 21) we been together since i turned 18

I try so hard to be brave and just keep plugging along waiting....it will be one year in aug since we sent in the application to csc........plz does anyone have any other ideas.....im tired stressed........nope not gonna give up but man im not an angel im not perfect i dont have anymore patents left.........i seem to only have two emotions left either crying or mad............

Man I am so sorry.........I wish there was something I could do for you. Please don't stop pestering CSC. Something has got to give here? Have you had any RFE's? Anything that you know of that could possibly be slowing the process?

I see that you wrote he was previously engaged? To whom another american who submitted a K-1 Visa Application?

Just curious. Trying to help you find some logic to the hold up here.

Man this totally sucks. I can't believe how long this is taking for you guys. I feel for you very much and hope things will finally break loose for you. You have waited much to long. Please know we are all with you and praying for you. Have you guys seen each other lately? Is it possible?

I hope you can hang in there, both of you. If I can think of something new or fresh to try I will let you know. Don't give up like you said. It will happen sweetie. Take care and keep us posted. KEEP BUGGING EVERYONE!! :)

hug9.gif Oh Sara, i'm so sorry hon.

Ok..well I suggested this to sara in PM and i'm not sure it would even make a difference, but i'm going to throw it out there to get your opinions....

I was thinking that if I drafted a template letter on sara & perviz's behalf we could all perhaps copy and paste it in an email to her senator's, congressmen, attorney...and anyone else who might listen. Having a larger voice can sometimes move mountains. ;)

I do realize they claim she/he is in name/security checks...etc..and that we must be diligent as a nation when it comes to this but a year is ridiculous! Perviz is not in a safe area in India and she has already spent weeks worrying if he is even dead or alive. I know there are horror stories all over and that their are others who have waited even longer in AP but Sara is one of us. Always here to offer her support and congrats. I would love to be able to do something on their behalf and i'm sure many of you would agree...

Do you think maybe they found the other K-1 Visa that was pulled by her? Isn't there some deal like a waiting period for filing multiple k-1 visas? Or is that only for the applicant which in this case would have been her. Maybe it doesn't apply for the beneficiary (him). What I saw was that the applicant who files a k-1 visa and pulls it may have to wait for two years before filing again. Like I said I believe it was only the applicant who has this problem. If you guys did the security thing with no problems I really don't understand what else could be the hold up. God what a mess sweetie.

I know you have met, what I was hoping is that you guys could see each other now and hopefully it will help you with the waiting part. Just a way to keep the fire burning and give you more hope. Just a thought. Maybe it is not possible for you guys right now. I hope things go well for you very soon.

I feel so bad for you having to wait like this with no real explanation of why your case is being passed around so much. Have you tried addressing a letter to the USCIS as if you had received an RFE but requesting written confirmation of why your case keeps getting stuck in this ridiculous merry-go-round and perhaps providing additional support for your case with evidence of your relationship continuing since filed... I know that none of this should be necessary but I'm wondering if it might get someone to at least do something different with your case.

I really hope you hear some positive news soon!

I think this is a fantastic idea! It's way easier than most people think (I work at a tv station)...just look up your local TV stations, call their front desk and ask them for the assignment desk. I've considered doing it myself...people who haven't done this before have no idea what this process is like. Everyone thinks it's just like the movies...and until that perception changes, nothing will change, because there's no public pressure for it to.

See my timeline for my K-1 and AOS/EAD/AP details.

thank you so much for all of ur support and ur suggestions this is what i did today...........first i contacted our county commissioner he lives up the street from us and i got some new numbers for the congressman's office and a few other places.......of course first i had to go thru the are u sure he is not just using u for a visa to the usa speech loll

so i contacted our local news paper.....dont know if that will help but wrote into the letters to the editor since they dont answer the phone anymore but leave a messege type of thing......again contacted our senator.....left a mess.......again contacted csc ...plz stop calling lol......contacted our attorney again......i dont know he must have a common name there are so many levels of securty checks you have to go thru i dont see anything wrong with being sent to security two or three times as that is normal (WHAT!!!!!!!)lol

So we now know the attorney is a complete idiot of fool or maybe we are the fools for hiring him

Everybody loves you, Sweetie. Remember that. Si, man.

I was going to suggest contacting the media. If you make it into print or onto the airwaves, get copies of what is produced, and send them all over the place.

KEEP CALLING those CSC bastards DAILY. They ARE bastards, and I won't apologize for saying it. Call everyone else daily, too. The squeaky wheel gets the grease.

The one who speculated about age was probably trying to be helpful, but that won't hold water. The legal age of consent to marry without ANYONE'S permission in most states is 18. Furthermore, according to the March 2006 "Current Population Survey" by the U.S. Census Bureau, 53.7% of U.S. husbands are older than their wives, so you would be comfortably fitting in with that prevailing demographic.

What makes me maddest of all is that all the Illegals in the country are laughing their heads off at all of us, and the laughing started the instant our I-129f packages hit the outgoing mail. But, back to all of us here: One of the great American patriots said "If we do not all hang together, we shall surely all hang separately." Rely on the strength that you can get from us, Sweetie. Si, man!
