congressman already contacted

Hello fellow Members

Thanks for your advice , but I already contacted Congressman last year. He rec'd the same letter that my cas must undergo security checks in order to continue the process. There is no time limit. Has anyone else contacted their senator/congressman and rec'd any positive help.

If yes, please let me know how you were helped.

Did you try contacting another congressman ?? We have 2 here where i live I contacted both so that really helped my case

I wasn't in AP so I don't know if I gave the best response sorry!

I would definitely try seeing if you can submit any other kind of proof that's what I'd do if possible

Keep at them. It can't hurt and besides, they are there to listen to the needs of us, the American tax payers. Whether they are positive or not....I cant say

My senator did nothing but email the consulate and get the same response I did "still undergoing administrative processing". I wrote my congressman who replied he has sent several letters of inquiry but that was more than one month ago and I have heard nothing since

Your representative can not speed up the process of security checks. Nor can they guarantee an approval. They can, however, ensure that the case does not slip between the cracks.
