i am visiting her for Valentine's....already booked tickets and stuff....so will try to get out of NVC before i leave in feb. this way its not going to be too much of a wait after i return in the first week of march.

how are things coming along with you and your husband...i am sure he is enjoying the new life style...does he have a DL yet? has he started driving?

My husband got his driver's license on Dec. 11th. and he is driving now. We went to Reno, Nevada for a few days and just returned today. It was great there, a lot of snow which we enjoyed. As far as gambling is concerned, I'm not a gambler but my husband attempted. He is having a great time here. He talks to his family back home a few times a week but he does miss his two Rottweilers that he left behind. I'm so glad that he's here. I missed some of my Hindi serials so I was catching up on Youtube and especially logged onto VJ to see if you've been approved since Aman was approved last week. I had this gut feeling that you would be. Once again, I'm very happy for you....and you will have a great time in India. I love going to India. You should take your wife to Dalhousie or Kullu/Manali...awesome places to visit and Taj Mahal is great as well. Take care.

good to hear that your life is moving along. and that you dont miss those hindi serials...i cant belive you are victim of these soaps also but i am honestly surprised that i got approved. with their slow processing i was expecting to get approved by feb. i think they approved me 2 months earlier. VSC is the worst nightmare and they should do something to fix it. anyway, good luck to you! please keep us updated on your developments and i will as well. take care!

How long does it take NVC to genrate Choice of agent...its been one week,.....I know counting the holidays and all...But still....The wait is getting on my nerves

My case was received on Dec. 17 and the Choice of Agent and the AOS Fee Bill were created on Dec. 22

Just so you will have an idea.... But consider that they did not work on Thursday and Friday... They do not work this thursday either....

But dont worry this wait will be MUCH less...

I am just sticking to keeping my hands off the phone ....I will call them them on Wednesday some time around 10 in the night. I just pray that they would have genratted the DS-3032 by then

I think that if you finish your NVC process before Jan 15 you will get an interview for Feb.... and if you finish NVC after Jan 15 you will get an interview for March....

I just paid my IV bill online.... And saw that the AOS bill appears as PAID.... but am not able to print the cover sheet online for the AOS.... I imagine its because I paid by mail and not online... This morning I called NVC and the AVR said that they received the DS-3032....

Don't let one day pass without calling NVC... this way you can be prepared to send any documents or payments...

yeah you should have a case complete prior to the second week in the month. If you do it is that week (the second week) they actually start making the appointments for the following month

you don't have to wait until it's genereated yikes you have to look at LingChe's guide you can get through NVC in just weeks if you follow the guide!!!! So there is an example of how you write it but you can send the ds3023 choice of agent from your email!!! no waiting you gotta move on this and not wait for them.....

I thought the wiki said that you could not send your DS3032 until it was generated by NVC. Thats why I waited one week to send my DS3032

dont send the DS-3032 until it is generated. it doesnt make any sense to send a document before it is being requested. just as the lingche's guide says, if u wud have sent it earlier it wud have been trying to pay a water bill for a house that hasnt been built yet. you did the right thing by waiting for it to be generated.
