Interesting.

I'm sure Hamas loves Haaretz - they are about as leftie as a newspaper can get.

What is the part of the article that seems "leftie" to you -- that Haaretz dared to report the fact that al-Aqsa Martyrs' Brigades is affiliated with Mahmoud Abbas and Fatah (and not Hamas) ?

I think what you really don't like is the obvious question it prompts -- Why in the world would Abbas' group (backed by the U.S. and, for the moment, Israel) try to create a reason to scuttle any possible agreement with Hamas ?

You want to know what I think?

Hamas, Fatah - all the same to me.

Fatah's Al-Aqsa Martyrs' Brigades carried out dozens of suicide bombings and other attacks

in Israel. In fact, I think Fatah are worse than Hamas, because they have to "work extra hard"

(i.e. kill more Israelis) to convince the people they didn't "sell out" to America and Israel.

As for supporting Fatah vs Hamas....whatever. You support one, condemn the other, pit them

against each other and watch the fireworks. In the meantime, it's business as usual in Tel-Aviv.

Well duh -- I've been telling you that for more than 2 years now. Of course that's why the U.S. and Israel are backing Fatah (for now.) Where do you think al Aqsa got 4 tons of explosives from ?

Anyway -- no Israelis killed, no Palestinians killed (except the driver.) Potentially major damage to Hamas' attempt to negotiate a truce. You'd almost think that was the way they planned it or something.

The US and Israel have backed Fatah for a long time - they are a great partner for peace

(i.e. they take cash and don't do much. Well....they do blow stuff up from time to time for

good measure, but they are still nowhere as destructive as Hamas.)

Or maybe it just happened that way.

Don't just open your mouth and prove yourself a fool....put it in writing.

It gets harder the more you know. Because the more you find out, the uglier everything seems.

"Worse" can mean different things, WoM.

In the context of the sentence you quoted, it meant "rotten" or "immoral" rather than "destructive".

If you count the number of people killed by Fatah and Hamas, you'll find that Hamas killed a lot more.

 First you say Fatah and Hamas are "all the same" to you. Then you say Fatah is "worse than Hamas" because "they have to 'work extra hard' (i.e. kill more Israelis)." Then you say Fatah is "a great partner for peace" and "nowhere near as destructive as Hamas."

And now you contradict yourself again, saying "Hamas killed a lot more" than Fatah.

LOL Zionists.

You take everything I say too literally. You should look up "metaphor" some time.

Let me explain it to you once again:

1) "Fatah and Hamas are all the same". Meaning: they are both terrorist groups.

2) "Fatah is worse than Hamas". Meaning: Fatah are back-stabbing two-faced

hypocrites ("peace-loving moderates" or "terrorists" when it suits them), whereas

Hamas are at least consistent and clear on where they stand.

3) Hamas killed a lot more people than Fatah. No contradiction there.

I think you're the one who needs to look up "metaphor" -- you haven't used a single one in your posts in this thread.

Your "explanations" are the usual:

The explosives were food fertilizer.

Now they can cry too that they don’t have enough food.

Cry and blame Israel. Time for them to wake up.

"The fact that we are here today to debate raising America’s debt limit is a sign of leadership failure. It is a sign that the U.S. Government can’t pay its own bills. It is a sign that we now depend on ongoing financial assistance from foreign countries to finance our Government’s reckless fiscal policies."

Senate Floor Speech on Public Debt
