Don't just open your mouth and prove yourself a fool....put it in writing.

A few people have had some really good luck lately traveling on a one way. We didn't take the chance but are having a super pain trying to get a refund from Egypt Air. Egypt Air told my husband (fiance' at the time) he had to have a two way ticket. But some of the others that didn't need it bought a ticket through a travel agent not Egypt Air directly.

I think a lot depends on whether you still might serve in the military.

Of the ones that bought one way tickets, I wonder how many were over 30?

Ahmed thinks that if you are under 30 then they will require a round trip ticket, thinking that they

can call you back to serve in the military, even if you are an only son.

He has been told that by some people there in Egypt.

It doesn't make sense.

He is an only son, and 2 months shy of 30, and the military still wouldn't give him an exemption from military service.

They said his Dad isn't 60 yet and still could have a son.

But people over 30 seem to have no problem with one way tickets.

If you love me, then I have everything I need

Salaam Sunrise,

Really? You bought a round-trip? What airline are you flying? I called RoyalAir Maroc, and they told me a one-way was fine for a K1 visa?

Maybe you heard something different? Please let me know because i need to buy a ticket for my fiance soon, inchallah... and the round-trips are VERY expensive these days.

Thanks!

hz

You got that right!

I did inquire at my travel agency and they said we needed a round trip on a K-1 . Sheesh! My head is

spinning. Round trip, one way, round trip, one way, round trip, one way......

Uh-oh...

now i'm confused... i just called DOS and they said a one-way ticket with a K-1 visa is fine (at least for Moroccans).

she said, "As long as he has a K-1 visa, he's fine."

any insight?

she was really nice on the phone... i can't remember if they were always that nice at DOS.

thanks!

Me, too...

all this time i thought one-ways were okay? RAM says so... DOS says so...

Hmmmmmmmmmmmmm... what to do?
