And they say that exercise is supposed to relieve stress and anger! Hmm!

I see violence at almost every team sport activity, not just in MENA.

No, have not discussed it. I think it's a mass crowd mentality -- follow the stupid people in front of ya.... *sighs*

I havent seen too much mention of it but it seems to be very common in Algeria ( fights after soccer)more so than some of the mena countries. Turkey has alot of problems with it in Turkey and outside of Turkey but I dont know how "mena" turkey is.

I looked for Egypt and all I could find were people singing and dancing

I was going to say what GG said. Violence around sports is certainly not restricted to the MENA countries. It seems to be pretty universal. If you look you'll see we even have quite a bit here in the US, just not associated with soccer as much since that isn't our sport until recently.
