Where does your brother live? I would freak out if I had one of those bad old boys in my yard. What did he do with it, or did it go away on it's own. OMG girl, that freaked me right on out.

He lives on a small bayou about 20 min from me. He shot that reptile and I don't know what he did w/ it to dispose of it. Here's a couple more pix:

that must be near my ex-wife's house......

Does she happen to play golf?

Last night we were watching this movie and this guy makes a reference to being “well-hung”. Hicham asked me, “What does that mean?” After trying to find the least crude way to explain what that meant, he understood. But then he asked why do they say it like that. I told him “Have you ever heard someone say “How’s it hangin’?, well that’s a subtle reference to that.” He goes….”Oh, okay.”, in this completely serious voice, “So if someone asks me “How’s it hang’in?”, I should say “well-hung”. I was like “NO!!!!!!”, you don’t say that! I had to pause the movie because I was laughing so hard!

First I have to say thanks so much for all the good laughs. I had a morning from hell today reviewing the most hosed-up work I've ever seen and trying to fix it. I work in government contracts and after what I do all day, dealing with USCIS is a walk in the park. I'm still trying to figure out how I landed in this field. Guess that's what I get for not finishing college when I was younger.

You can send some of that rain to us if you want to get rid of it! It rained night before last so I didn't have to pay for water for my baby vegetable and herb plants. I wouldn't mind if it rained every single night all summer. Sure would save on the water bill and keep the tomatoes and peppers growing plump.

This is definitely a good day for me - I will be on vacation next week. I had planned to rest but the second I found out my vacation was approved the "to-do" lists started writing themselves in my brain.

Congrats on the smoking Amal. I've never smoked but seeing what Abdel goes through when he tries to quit I know it has to be a real bear. He just runs out of them for a few hours and he turns into super-grump. Is there some specific food that is unique to Algeria that we can see if he can make?

If Charles wants to prove he's a real Algerian we can always give him some kind of authentic test. If he was a woman getting married we could always use the white sheet test on him. Bet he would never have passed that one. Of course that one only supposedly proves virginity, not Algerian status.

I should write these things down....

Last weekend, some family members had come over Saturday night and Hicham had grilled some incredible salmon filets on the grill. We were all eating out on the screened in porch and really enjoying our meal. All of us kept telling him how yummy the fish was. And he says....

"Awwww, come on now....don't be blowing smoke ON my azz"!

I just about spit my food out of my mouth!!!!!

I patted his arm and said "Honey, it's UP....UP your azz."

Then everybody just started laughing out loud!
