Hi guys,

I just had my interview last May 20, and I was approved! God is soooo good! I am soooo happy even though I had quite a rough time with the prescreener.

My prescreener was a Filipino guy, probably in his late 30's or 40's and he was intimidating! When I approached his window, I said good morning, and the first thing he said was, NURSE KA? It was more of a statement than a question. He didnt even say good morning back. I said yes, I'm a nurse. And he asked, And you have a US employer? I said yes, I do, and I told him about the hospital in the US I signed up with. And he went like, so why'd you go on the fiance visa? And I answered truthfully, that my fiance and I are very much inlove and we want to be together as soon as we can. And he was like, hmm, really...

Then he asked me personal questions about my fiance - when and where did we meet, how many times has he visited me, etc. I was okay with those questions, but then he asked me another question which to me seemed quite insulting. He asked, how many times has he sent you money? And I said just twice. One for my phone bill when it skyrocketed because I called him up in my postpaid phone, and the second time was for my plane trip to Manila for the medical exam and interview. And he was like, Did he willingly give you the money or you asked for it? I said he willingly gave it. And he asked me again, willingly?? I felt offended by the way he asked me his questions, but I tried not to let it show. I honestly thought I am going to have a tough time defending myself to the American consul as well because from the prescreener alone, it already seems like he is doubtful of my intentions or my motives for going on the fiance visa. My heart really sank to the floor after the prescreener interview because he seemed to imply that he is doubting my intentions for going on the k1 since I am a nurse and I have a hospital employer in the US.

Thankfully though, when I was finally interviewed by the American consul herself, she was very polite and friendly and she made me feel at ease. She was not intimidating at all and she only had a few questions for me. Then she said, well, everything looks great, your visa's approved! I cannot believe it! I honestly cant believe it! I thought I'd be grilled more, but that was all it! GOd is sooooo good, I am soooo happy! Thank you thank you thank you Lord! Thank you for all the help and prayers guys!

I cant wait to be with my fiance soon! He's coming over soon to get me and we'd be going back to the US together. Yay yay yay! =)

Hi beauty,

Sorry to hear about the not so nice pre-screener you had. I can feel your upset from here, but now it's okay now. So, CONGRATS you are done with the interview finally. :)

Congrats!

I don't want to go into my wife's pre-screener nightmare. It's all par for the course, as we say. The worst is over now. You can relax and enjoy the ride with ease through the rest of the visa process.

Kudos!!!
