The NY Times says the Senator will meet Friday with Govs. Crist and Jindal at McCain’s Arizona home.

Both names are widely considered possible running mates.

Just based on their tans, Jindal's tan would be more of a problem for McCain in the Appalachians than Crist, IMO.

From what I have seen of Crist he sounds like a good man. Considering McCains age the VP takes on a more important role. I think he would be a good pick.

Crist would be a VERY smart pick. At least when he was FL Commissioner of Education he wasn't doing so bad and by the time he became Attorney General of FL he was REALLY big into consumer rights, kind of like Illinois' Lisa Madigan.

I have heard of nothing that indicates he will be campaigning for Obama:
