Hillary Rodham Clinton says she is willing to take her fight to seat Florida and Michigan delegates to the convention if the two states want to go that far. In an interview with The Associated Press, Clinton was asked whether she would support the states if they continue the fight.

The presidential candidate said Wednesday, "Yes I will. I will, because I feel very strongly about this."

Yeah let her, she will not win.. what happens if they do a re vote in both states and OBAMA will will both.. she would be a joke.

anyways, it is her way of trying to pull a rabbit out of a hat and win. IF the tables were turn she would not give a ####### about either state. She is just tells them what they want to hear and then she will forget them.

She is a snake and a dirty pool player.. I dont trust her as far as I can toss a fright train

I don't what kind of fuzzy math she's using, but if MI and FL delegates are seated, Obama will still have the majority and the super delegates will follow. To try and convince the super delegates that she should get all the delegates according to the popular vote in those two states will only backfire, particularly with MI where both Obama and Edwards voluntarily took their names off the ballot to show solidarity for the national Party's rule.

BOCA RATON, Fla. - Hillary Clinton compared her effort to seat Florida and Michigan delegates to epic American struggles, including those to free the slaves.

...

She said "there's a reason why so many have fought so hard and sacrificed so much. It's because they knew that to be a citizen of this country is to have the right and responsibility to help shape its future. Not just to have your voice heard but to have it count.

...

Those people, she said “refused to accept their assigned place as second-class citizens. Men and women who saw America not as it was, but as it could and should be, and committed themselves to extending the frontiers of our democracy. The abolitionists and all who fought to end slavery and ensure freedom came with the full right of citizenship.

...

We all have an obligation as Democrats - to carry on this legacy and ensure that in our nominating process, every voice is heard and every single vote is counted."

Good for her...the super delegates are listening.

Can I say I told you so yet?

Yep...in a way, although I'm counting on a backlash from the remaining uncommitted super delegates who aren't so easily persuaded by dramatics.

Case in point...

David McDonald, an uncommitted Washington state superdelegate who sits on the rules committee, said he wouldn’t be swayed by “mere publicity and a claim to be able to win the states.”

March 13, 2008:

Hillary Clinton says the results [in Michigan] should count, even if Barack Obama's name did not appear on the ballot. "That was his choice... There was no rule or requirement that he take his name off the ballot. His supporters ran a very aggressive campaign to try to get people to vote uncommitted."...

When pressed by NPR, Clinton said "We all had a choice as to whether or not to participate in what was going to be a primary, and most people took their name off the ballot but I didn't."

----

In the spring of 2007, the Florida legislature passed by overwhelming majorities House Bill 537 which moved the date of the state's primary to January 29th, a week before the earliest permitted date.

In response, the Rules and Bylaws Committee voted on August 25, 2007 that Florida was in violation of its rules, and gave the state 30 days' notice to change the date of its primary. As Florida did not respond, the Committee stripped Florida of its delegates to the 2008 Democratic National Convention. On August 31, officials from the four approved early-voting states asked all the candidates to pledge not to campaign or participate in Florida, and all the major candidates signed the pledge.

In the run-up to Super Tuesday on February 5, the Obama campaign ran a nationwide television advertising campaign that was shown in all states, including Florida.

The Clinton team says that it was Obama who broke the no-campaigning pledge by running nationwide television ads that were shown in Florida. The Clinton campaign did not agree that all the states' delegates should be stripped.

So rules are now the measurement of what is right with regard to MI's Primary? Interesting.

You claim 'Party solidarity' by removing his name (what is this, the USSR?). Yet, he had no duty to do so. He did however, break the rules HE AGREED TO in Florida. Not HC.

...the Democratic National Committee asked the other candidates to withdraw their names from the ballot. So, here you have the institution itself asking people to pull their names off the ballot.

It wasn't just Obama, but Richardson and Edwards...

Edwards campaign manager David Bonior stressed, in an emailed statement, that the early states provide an alternative to "money, celebrity, and advertisements."

"It's important we respect the role that the four early states play in the nominating process. In Iowa, New Hampshire, South Carolina, and Nevada voters can look their candidate in the eye and determine who is best to bring about real change in America," Bonior said.

...

A spokesman for Richardson, Tom Reynolds, writes, "Governor Richardson has pledged not to compete in any states holding contests before February 5 except those first four sanctioned by the DNC, and he keeps his word."

....

...if Hillary tries to argue that she rightfully won the delegates of MI, she'll lose the support of the super delegates - particularly the party leaders who make up the rules.
