I got married back in the Philippines on 11/07. Filed my I-130 petition 3/13/08. Went to my barber today and got to talking with her and she told me she has a friend who also married there also and is still waiting after 14 months without any interview date yet. Is this about the normal or is the un-norm.

I know this is a very very long process but even after 7 months of being away from my wife it is absolutely killing me! How are you guys coping with it? I find myself having a lot of sad days being away from her.

thanks,

Martin

You've got a March NOA1 at California, so I'd probably expect you to have an approval (NOA2) within the next 4 weeks at the rate they're going .... if not before.

As far as coping is concerned, we all get on this website and pour our souls out to complete strangers and then go and get drunk

Well that's encouraging. I did call USCIS yesterday and they did say it was being processed. But when I look online there is no progress report yet.

To bad, I don't drink anymore, but sometimes I feel like taking it up again :hehe:
