Ok, I've told this story here before . . . but it's worth re-telling.

When my then fiance appeared at the Windsor border with the van to come and pick me up and bring the cats and me south, the Canadian border authority asked him the purpose of his trip and how long he would be in Canada. Joe said he was driving to Chatham to pick up his fiancee and then he was taking me back to Georgia where we were going to get married. The Border Guard waved him forward and said 'Drive on, brother, drive on. Far be it from me to stand in the way of another man's misery!" (Hehehehehe- he was laughing too).

You will have no problems at the border - just tell them the truth - they will either commiserate or congratulate.

Haha, that's funny! The last time my bf went through the US border side he told them he was visiting his gf and the guy's response was "So, when are you going to make an honest woman our of her" hahaha I thought that was funny...

Honestly, I wouldn't even mention the interview, Canadian customs doesn't really care about that, they just care how long you'll be staying and where you're going.

There's been a story all over the news on how Americans visiting Canada is at its lowest in years and years. It went from $2.5 million visitiors in the month of March in 2001 to 765,000 in 2008. That's pretty bad.
