I would like to ask those who just had their visa interview...Is the old passport (green one) still accepted by USEM? I heard from a friend that his fiancee's passport during the interview was scrutinized to the point that it was destroyed and was asked to get the new passport issued by DFA which is machine validated. My friend told me that someone in the embassy, i dont know if its a consul or what, doubted the passport of my friend's fiancee as the picture in our old passport is elevated, slightly raised or was just taped in the passport by DFA in security tape (if u notice it...). I would appreciate any replies. Thanks a lot.

My Timeline:

My husband and I were college sweethearts. In fact, we were each other's first love. We broke up for a while and after 8 years, we started talking again. We finally got back together in 2007 and decided to get married last December.
