The I129 I am talking about are not K1 but non-immigrant worker petitions.

on the bright side, Vermont is processed I129 through March 16. They have to switch resources to I130s now. What else can they do after they approve all I129?

I still see April's posting if someone can catch it on May. please paste on site. This going back and forth is for the birds.

Thanks!!!!

I got it, I got it, oh damn, wish I did not get it now.

#######!!!!!

Paris, hit the refresh button in internet explorer. it is also under view menu.

I tired that, I even got out of system and re-pulled up the USCIS website, still shows April.

The I-129F are they for the K3 or the ficance" petitions that your speaking about for March????

The more I think about this, more clearer it is. None of us can do anything unless we can hire a high powered lobyist like the corporate america to lobby for serious legal immigration reforms. Vermont is doing this because they can and there is no one to stop them from processing however they want. I am currently addicted and not getting anything done so I am going to stop visiting the site as often. its the only way to keep myself from getting depressed.

I understand Kman. I had to do that at one point too...and probably will have to do it again soon..

I agree. that is one thing I stated in the letter to my senator... "where are the checks and balances?"

they do it because they can and noone cares.

VSC received our case sept. 21, 2007. a friend of mine who is an oct filer was already approved may 4th. so i had my senator inquire VSC dated May 20 in the morning and had a reply from VSC that afternoon. i had mentioned to the senator about my friend's approval.

this is the email reply from VSC..."the petition was received at this office on 9/21/07 and we are currently processing immediate relative I-130 petitions received at this office on 7/30/07. the friend may have just gotten lucky and may have been randomly selected for a new officer training case."

so is that full of ####### or what? then why didn't they selected the ones that were earlier. my atty said that she has received a few 2008 filers as late as march who were already approved. so i guess they are the lucky ones also. what is the freaking point of the fee increase. it made it longer. they are really covering their butts by not changing the processing time. the senator can't really do anything because it's still within the processing time.

11/4/08: husband hand delivered additional docs to USEM; waiting for consul to review it

11/14: consul reviewed docs

11/19: i received letter from Senator stating that husband's Visa approved.

The whole process is a scam, I tell you. They sure like to cash checks early and then forget about it. I met my congressman also and told the same thing that many case of ahead of me are already approved. The people in his office were very helpful, but said whoever tells me they got approval ahead of me are lying. I didnt want to argue. I dont know...with this kind of snail paced, bandaged INS system, we have only hope to live by. Why wont Vermont move.... damn it....even one day of moving ahead of stoooopid july 30 date bring brink of new hope in many of us.

Someone at Vermon might have lost a big box of CR1 cases about four months ago :secret::rofl:. If they move this date and they would have to answer inquiry form congressman and senators. :secret:

It is even possible that there might be one person who worked at Vermont who was maintained spreadsheet with dates for all cases and he/she might have been on disability for more than 4 months now. These monsters never quit snatching free payments as government employees. :protest: :protest: Now no one knows how to publish new dates on website.

I live in Illinois, will sent the I130 to Nebraska, right? There is no processing time for Neb, so where does it go from there?

Jackie

Process has been changed now. You need to send I-130 to chicago lockbox now. There they will scan documents and possibly process payment. Then they would send it to appropriate Service Center. I belive starting december 07 only Vermont and California process I-130.

All petitioners filing stand-alone Form I-130 must submit their petitions to the Chicago Lockbox instead of a USCIS Service Center. Form I-130 petitions filed with the Chicago Lockbox will be routed to, and adjudicated at, the appropriate USCIS Service Center. This routing will be based on the petitioner’s place of residence in the United States.

Important: Any Form I-130 filed at an incorrect location will be rejected.

Petitioners who reside in AK, AZ, CA, CO, Guam, HI, ID, IL, IN, IA, KS, MI, MN, MS, MT, NE, NV, ND, OH, OR, SD, UT, WA, WI, or WY must file their stand-alone Form I-130s with the Lockbox using the following address:
