DS form 156

Hello VJ family,

I am filling up the form DS 156, there was this #12 which is Nationality.. of course i should put Filipina but I couldn't wrote it coz you need just to click the place? and it went out Philippines.. Gosh how could i change it? Then I also have question about the "ñ", my family name is SAREÑO but ñ is not acceptable so I need to change it in N only is it ok to put the hypen after printing it? Another thing again, i got an erasure so what i did is i went back.. i click the back button then i print again it happen it has different code, is that ok? anyone help me pls!

Hi Vida,

Yes for nationality it's Philippines.

I think it is okay to just write hypen after you have printed it from online as putting special character will result your filling invalid entry.

The bar code should all be the same in three pages of ds 156. So , i think just restart to fill in new page of ds 156.

Hi Vida,

I agree with shape and about the " ñ "you must type first into the Microsoft word before you copy and paste into the place where you want to put. It is okay if you have a different code again in the new DS 156 form it was happen to me before but its okay there is no big deal that I guess.

No special charactors are allowed on the USCIS forms so you would use N not ñ. This is written in the instructions on several of the forms.

It is okay if you have a different code again in the new DS 156 form[/b] it was happen to me before but its okay there is no big deal that I guess.

The bar code in page 1 and page 3 of DS 156 that you filled up online should be matched. Take note, they will scan the bar code to easily find your infos that you have filled up online in their system.

As for you name again, Just fill it as N online, as if you fill your online ds 156 with special character that will result into invalid entry.
