Folks,

after a person is issued a K3 visa how long do they have before they can enter the USA on K3 visa? Is the last date for entry the last date on the I-129F approval NOA2 or 6 months from the passport being stamped?

any guidance would be greatly appreciated.

thanks

M

The visa has an expiration date specified on it... It is by that date entry must be made... in most cases it is two years from issuance.

YMMV

the visa is valid for 2 years as per the reciprocatry agreement. i want to be clear whether one has to enter within 6 months of stamping or within the timeframe of the I-129F approval expiry.

thanks

The I-129F approval validity period has to do with visa issuance and nothing about visa usage....

YMMV
