just went to update my timeline, and found that the question about EAD is still there, in the very last section, about the POE... don't know how it's collated or displayed, however :)

The Very Secret Diary of Legolas Son of Weenus - by Cassandra Claire

Day One: Went to Council of Elrond. Was prettiest person there. Agreed to follow some tiny little man to Mordor to throw ring into volcano. Very important mission - gold ring so tacky.

Day Six: Far too dark in Mines of Moria to brush hair properly. Am very afraid I am developing a tangle.

Orcs so silly.

Still the prettiest.

Day 35: Boromir dead. Very messy death, most unnecessary. Did get kissed by Aragorn as he expired. Does a guy have to get shot full of arrows around here to get any action? Boromir definitely not prettier than me. Cannot understand it. Am feeling a pout coming on.

Frodo off to Mordor with Sam. Tiny little men caring about each other, rather cute really.

Am quite sure Gimli fancies me. So unfair. He is waist height, so can see advantages there, but chunky braids and big helmet most off-putting. Foresee dark times ahead, very dark times.

I just got off the phone with a border agent at Peace Arch (Blaine, WA) and he said they always issue the EAD stamp.

I have no idea if all land crossing do this, but I thought I'd add another definite "yes" to the list for everyone.

May I ask you...did you inquire about just the K1 getting the stamp or both K1 and K3? Thank you!!

Sadly, the one disputing "myth" has not fessed up with the specifics.

I apologize for being a rude so'n'so.

I said I went through Detroit. Whether it was land or air is irrelevant as I am making a point that matters to no one but me and in fact is only a point to make me feel smart and not to be of ANY material help to anyone else.

By the way, my point sure as hell did matter. It's gotten you and the peanut gallery making jabs at me for how many pages? When people like you lie and say that JFK is the "only" POE that issues the stamp, I have to speak up and point out that you are either lying...or just a misinformed idiot. You can choose which...

01/12/10 Sent I-751 to California Service Center; arrived on 1/14/2010

02/09 Biometrics appointment in Michigan City, Indiana

02/10 Case updated

02/23 Received NOA

03/08 Card production ordered

03/10 ROC approval letter arrives

03/15 Ten year Green card arrives

02/17/12 Mailed citizenship application

forget day Biometrics appointment in Michigan City, Indiana

05/14 Interview and test in Indianapolis, Indiana

05/23 Received oath letter

06/15 Oath ceremony...end of the line.

I have NEVER said that JFK is the 'only' POE that issues temporary EADs, and no one that I have seen has said so either; they have used the word 'routinely', or an equivalent, which changes the meaning of the sentence markedly

over and over and OVER again this point has been made to you, and yet here you are aGAIN, rebutting something that no one is (routinely) claiming

the 'decent people's' replies haven't been on your point... reading comprehension again, tsk tsk... THEY are interested in specific POEs that issue the EADs, something which you claim doesn't matter... you have said explicitly that it's immaterial which POEs DO offer the stamp, and that your point is that JFK isn't the only one that does

WE KNOW THAT

however, all evidence so far continues to indicate that it is the only POE that ROUTINELY offers the stamp

now, you have to excuse me; I'm off to start a thread pointing out that the pope did NOT kill JFK

I will not allow any posts with theories as to who did, as this is immaterial

PS I'll wait with anticipation for all your many supporters to leap to your defence

I didn't specifically ask K1, I just asked if they do the EAD stamp. But I may have said something about coming through with my fiance.
