My sons 3rd birthday party was on Sunday...May 18 (birthday on the 19th). We were waiting for my best friend D'arcy and her son Dejour to come over for the party and Joshua was getting bored and ansy. So I gave him one of his presents early. A diego bounsy ball. So me, Joshua and Ed were kicking the ball around having a blast. All of a sudden, i had my right foot on the ball, and my left knee locked up on me, i slipped with my foot on the ball and couldnt catch myself with my left foot. I fell, with my leg going behind my body. I was in alot of pain, i lay on the floor for about 15 mins and decided to suck it up for the party. Two hours pass and im passing out cake, pizza, presents and trying to ignore the pain and not cry. Finally after 2 hours or so me, Ed and D'arcy were out in the back while the kids played and i couldnt hide it any longer.

I went to the dr, and the results: I fractured along the left side of my foot, broke 2 toes, and severly sprained my ankle. Im on crutches and out of work for 3 days. :(

It was a good birthday party tho, I wasnt and never would have let anything ruin it for Joshua!

Seriously I used to bust my lip like once a week when I was a kid cause i would run into walls or corners all the time. I still run into walls and I stump my toes or trip or bang my hip. Its soo stupid. Or when I reach for something I miss it and end up knocking it over instead.

Tear up that application to the dynamite factory.

"The fact that we are here today to debate raising America’s debt limit is a sign of leadership failure. It is a sign that the U.S. Government can’t pay its own bills.
