Two I-797C notice of action?

Npw i am getting a little confused. I filed with Vermont on 4/21/06. Recieved a 797C dated 4/26/06/ Thats fine!! Today in bthe mail I got another 797C dated 5/3/06 but with a different Receipt number. Should i call them or maybe you know what is up.

Then today I notice a touch on the later one

filed 129 with vermont 4/19/06

first notice 5/3/06?

IMRA RFE 6/19/06

snail mail RFE 6/22/06

returned 6/22/06

email they recieved 6/26/06

second RFE email 7/11/06

recieved 7/22

returned 7/24

touched 7/25

APProved 10/02/06

NVC sent to Moscow 10/17/06

package from Embassy 11/17/06

interview 01/11/07

approved visa 01/11/07

arrived 02/7/07

married 04/13/07

filed AOS 05/13/07

biometrics 06/06/07

They say different or same things?

They say exactly the same thing but they have different receipt numbers and different notice dates.

Also when i went into the immigration web site and put in the new number it accepted it. Also showed a touch on the new one for May 6th

You need to tell us what they actually say. You typically get two I-797s, the first one being a Recept Notice and the second one being an Approval Notice. The Receipt Number, however, should NOT change!

What do they each say in the "Notice Type:" block?

08-24-06: NOA for I-485

09-08-06: Biometrics Appointment

They are exactly the same, Reciepot notice and the 170 dollars. Just the receipt number and the nitce date are different. Seems i am getting two wifes in. for the price of one. lol Maybe I can sell one nitce on Ebay
