Domicile in US vs. Work info out of country

In filling out the G-325, I am confused about the potential of presenting conflicting information (another address question for you folks).

I currently work and live in Costa Rica, but do not have residence here.

If I put on my form my US address, they will see that it conflicts with my work address.

If I put my Costa Rican address, then I do not establish domicile in the US.

1. What should I do?

2. What exactly is domicile?

I fell into the exact same category--I'm a US citizen, but I am living in Peru with my husband for one year while we wait for his visa.

I put that my address was my US address, and that my domicile was in the US. I found somewhere that domicile is where you consider yourself a citizen and plan to live long-term in the future. (If you want to read about it yourself, it was on the instruction page for the I-864 form.

Only when it specifically asked where I was currently living, did I put my address in Peru. If it just said "Address", I put the US. Domicile, I put the US. Then wth my I-864 I included documentation that shows I have ties to the US and will be living and working there next year (a letter from my employer, letters from my banks about open accounts, and my US taxes for this past year. You can also send a voter's registration document, or some other things that are also listed on the instructions for the I-864 form.

However, in your case, you might want to put your CR address for both home and work, but then US for domicile. I would recommend reading the instructions. You can find them on the USCIS forms page.
