You applied only in February.

Vermont is traditionally faster than California, usually much faster.

Kind suggestion: Be patient for now, and avoid scaring other members on here.

06-04-2007 = TSC stamps postal return-receipt for I-129f.

06-11-2007 = NOA1 date (unknown to me).

07-20-2007 = Phoned Immigration Officer; got WAC#; where's NOA1?

09-25-2007 = Touch (first-ever).

09-28-2007 = NOA1, 23 days after their 45-day promise to send it (grrrr).

10-20 & 11-14-2007 = Phoned ImmOffs; "still pending."

12-11-2007 = 180 days; file is "between workstations, may be early Jan."; touches 12/11 & 12/12.

12-18-2007 = Call; file is with Division 9 ofcr. (bckgrnd check); e-prompt to shake it; touch.

12-19-2007 = NOA2 by e-mail & web, dated 12-18-07 (187 days; 201 per VJ); in mail 12/24/07.

01-09-2008 = File from USCIS to NVC, 1-4-08; NVC creates file, 1/15/08; to consulate 1/16/08.

01-23-2008 = Consulate gets file; outdated Packet 4 mailed to fiancee 1/27/08; rec'd 3/3/08.

04-29-2008 = Fiancee's 4-min. consular interview, 8:30 a.m.; much evidence brought but not allowed to be presented (consul: "More proof! Second interview! Bring your fiance!").

05-05-2008 = Infuriating $12 call to non-English-speaking consulate appointment-setter.

05-06-2008 = Better $12 call to English-speaker; "joint" interview date 6/30/08 (my selection).

06-30-2008 = Stokes Interrogations w/Ecuadorian (not USC); "wait 2 weeks; we'll mail her."

07-2008 = Daily calls to DOS: "currently processing"; 8/05 = Phoned consulate, got Section Chief; wrote him.

08-07-08 = E-mail from consulate, promising to issue visa "as soon as we get her passport" (on 8/12, per DHL).

08-27-08 = Phoned consulate (they "couldn't find" our file); visa DHL'd 8/28; in hand 9/1; through POE on 10/9 with NO hassles(!).

Just in case...

Please use these steps to get connected directly to an immigration officer at the VERMONT SERVICE CENTER. call after 10am and before 4:30pm

Call the 1-800 number.

Option 1,

Option 2,

Option 2,

Option 6,

Option 1,

ENTER I129F (K3) receipt number

Option 1, Wait for "On {date}..."

Option 3,

Option 4,

wait to be connected and then chew their asses out (if necessary), get names and id numbers and start posting your findings on this site.

This is very critical for some, especially someone like me who DID not file a I130 for my wife's daughter trying to save some money upfront and get them both here (k3/K4). If i were to file for her I-130 NOW, there'd be a huge gap in time and i'd really be messed up.

Well Mr. K1 wizzy speedy process person .... just for your info, the young lady is not scaring anyone on here .... EVERYONE knows that Vermont is not even touching the K3 visas! There have only been about two processed since January.

If you want K3 (or a timely processed CR1/IR1) you have to move to the CSC processing part of the US ..... if you want to sit and wait while all chances of ever seeing your spouse again go out of the window ..... stay in the VSC processing part of the US

Patience??? try telling that to the people who have been waiting around 300 days just to hear something .... anything .... because all their petitions are doing right now are collecting dust and spiders!!!

The only thing that VSC are processing are H1-B's, tourists and unmarried folk .... not scaring anyone, just the truth

Get rid of the lawyer is what I say, unless he can put pressure on to get your visa sorted in a timely manner

Yes, Sarah's a little bit on edge tonight and it's past her bedtime

hi VJs, is there any logic about this whole procedure, is there any kind of organised idea about it, im just wondering about the way those persons uses their brains, we said we r so lucky to be filling after the huge mess of last summer but it seems that they cant spend 6 months without making a big deal out of something, and guess wt u will get no explanation about anything u just need to wait , VSC is playing the main role , it is the star now , everyone is wondering wt is wrong or why only K3 visa, while new fillers like us from florida r just waiting , praying that they wont be dealing with the VSC just cz of the geographic, all wt we want is that we get some attention, people r suffering over here away from each other, god help us all, they leave us with only one thing to do "PRAY"

Thank you, generally on the whole, Military Expedites are for those who are off to Iraq .... however, I am looking into other ways of doing it .... we were turned down once already on the grounds of a death and terminal cancer ....
