Quick question for those who had an AOS Interview

Hi everyone

Probably a silly question with a simple answer but just wondered what other people had taken to gain access to building for AOS interview.

I have an AOS interview coming up and wanted to check the following:

The appointment letter states that my husband and I need to present "Government issued photo ID such as a driving licence or State ID card" to enter the office.

My husband has his US passport and DL so no problem there.

I however only have my EU passport (in maiden name) and marriage certificate to show change of name.

This was accepted for my biometrics appointment.

I didn't get a DL/ID card during the I94 validity period and from what I can tell, I won't be able to apply for a DL or State ID card until I have my EAD (which is still being processed) to show legal presence in the US.

So at the moment I can't get hold of any US issued photo ID for myself.

Has anyone else been for an interview and had any problems with presenting passport and marriage certificate rather than US DL or State ID?

Everything else for my interview is fine - am just stressing about getting in!!!!!!

Many thanks!

You are Ok with your EU passport - thats all my wife had (her Colombian passport) when we went for the interview. I tried to get her a state ID but they denied it. Don't worry about it, they have dealt with thousands of us without a state ID. Good Luck
