Hi There

If you go here https://egov.uscis.gov/cris/jsps/index.jsp and create an account, you will be able to see if your petition is touched, you would know this if the date changes, that is a touch. You will only get an email once approved.

Hope this is helpful. Good Luck

It is a little screwy in the sense that it doesn't show anything except they change the date - so unless you are keeping track of that, you may think nothing has happened. Generally when they send you the NOA and then the biometrics and right after biometrics are done, the date changes - but it doesn't say anything like biometrics done or something understandable like that. Good Luck

Thanks for that info, even though I wasn't the one that asked for it. Our date hasn't changed since biometrics on 5/7 yet and I'm starting to worry. You know how paranoid this process makes us all?

That morning I took an economics final exam then drove about 3 hours to get there, so by the time we got to his appointment and were filling out the paperwork in the biometrics room my brain was dead. Abdel asked me to fill out the forms for him because my handwriting is better and I can read the questions in English faster. I had to ask him what color his eyes were because I couldn't remember anything at all. We were the only ones waiting and I'm scared they heard me ask that and think our marriage is fake so aren't going to process us or will mess things up on purpose. I know what color his eyes are of course, but at that moment I was doing good to remember my own eye color.

I know it's silly to worry about that stuff, but I just want this whole process to be over so I'm not obsessing over stupid ####### like that. I think I will not visit this site much while we wait since it just seems to make me more impatient when I come here.

(((((((((((((((((((Honeyblonde))))))))))))))))),

I am sure you aren't having a problem with your file. Ours hasn't been touched since just after my biometrics as well - 4/24/ - either. If what happened worries you, just print out a copy of this forum and have it available as 'evidence' for your state of mind at the time - in the very, very off chance that anyone ever mentions it:-). Good luck on your journey.

My wife had her biometrics on April 29, but the date at the USCIS website still shows March, so it apparantly was not touched. Not sure if I should worry about that or not, but I don't remember her file being touched during the original 2 year Greencard process either.
