The visa k1 guide states this : I-134 Affidavit of Support form. Ensure it is notarized (by a US Notary Public), with all required supporting evidence. Begin collecting the required information ahead of time, as it can often take several weeks to collect it all.

However, I am in poland so how can I get a US notary to notarize my affidavit? Will they accept a polish notary?

Second, I didn't see anything about medical exams on the visa guide. When will we be instructed for my fiance to get her exams, is it going to be apart of the noa2, etc? Do I need the DS-3025 or I-693A for the interview?

Thanks

i think polish notary will do hence youre not a u.s. citizen. I think the embassy just want to know if you have ways and means how to support your fiancee. I hope this helps.

Well i am a us citizen, just living in poland currently, does anyone else think a polish notary will be ok for the interview, surely hope so.

I know for India they specifically say only USA consulates are authorized. I suggest going to Citizen's services and getting it done properly.

hi you can call the us consulate where in ur fiancee will be interviewed and ask ur concerns..

coz we wonder of this before, coz my fiance is with me in our country, and we read that only us notary can do it and we need to go to the us embassy of our country, but when we asked the us embassy on phone bout this, they said it is ok if he's coming with me durig the interview, he can sign it infront of the consular officer.

So we did not need to notarized it before my interview.. he signed it infront of the consular officer during my interview..

we have different policies in our consulate.. call them and ask to be sure :)

goodluck

I believe you will be fine with having a Polish notary sign the documents. Polish notaries are usually attorneys and much more respected/honored than a notary in the US (who can get a notary stamp by just filing out an application).

But to be on the safe side, you can email the US Embassy in Warsaw, they may give you a recommendation for a notary they use, or prefer to avoid problems.
