I would just like to say congratulations to everyone who has received their visa,and thank those who prayed for us,or had positive thoughts or whatever. i really very much appreciate everything.

i havent posted in a while,because i have been very busy readying everything. also,i did not mean in any way to cause a religious debate.( sorry slim)

IMO religion is mans attempt to get to god. i dont need religion,i know what i have to do.

the books already been written on what to do,you just have to pay attention,do what it says,live by the rules.

nowhere in the rules,does it say anything about letting GOD or your belief in him,be used as a doormat.

eekee,thank you for your honesty,funny thing is, ive had agnostic friends my whole life, we respect each other,and just dont go there in discussion,unless im asked a question.

i never try to force my beliefs down anyones throat.

there is scientific proof from reliable,respected university sources on the power of prayer. do yourself a favor,look it up.

i am a very sensitive person,unless you are al-qaida or taliban,and all i could see in my head,was poor crushed chinese people when i read what he wrote.

maybe he was tired,like me,but i forgive him.

and the comment about the parking place,i understand what he was trying to say,but as eekee said,there really is no comparison there,and it was a very poor analogy.

I would die for this woman,not for a damn parking place. kindof brings a lack of depth in feeling to the surface.

he is right it was not christian like,it was quite mercenary,but sometimes that part of me cannot be contained when the right buttons are pushed,we are not perfect,just forgiven.

when i wrote the post,i had been up for 27 hours straight,no food, and loaded with caffeine. i didnt sleep the next day either,but adrenaline,happiness helped.(and prayers!)

i actually have some friends who live in atlanta,russian/south african couple who are very very nice people. they have helped myself and elena from the beginning.

So we can't debate religion, can we debate the geo-political social climate that's tied to religion? Or the connection between crushed Chinese people and Al-Qaida/Taliban and how they affect our sensitivities?

Ah hah! So you are a Christian mercenary! That kind of sleep deprivation only comes with serious training from Langley or Quantico or even in the field somewhere like Camp X-Ray. There's a place in North Carolina that's big on training that sort of thing but they've come under increased scrutiny lately because some of their guys shot up a bunch of civilians after being awake for so long. Proof positive that running on two or three days without sleep is sometimes not the best for cognitive reasoning.

Ranger pudding is one of my all-time favorite MRE treats! Well, that and M&Ms with Barcelona Olympic sweepstakes still on them.

In all seriousness, the new (light tan/brownish color) MREs are actually quite good.
