Hi Guys!

Just want to share this info about my visa validity..

I thought visa is valid for 6 months and will be issued on the day you were approved.

But, i've noticed mine was issued may 14 (had my interview may 12) and valid til oct 23 only.

And i remember i had my medical last april 23..so when i count from there to oct 23 it's exactly 6 months..

Just courious if you guys have the same validity.

Hi there :)...My visa was valid for 6 months from the date of issuance. This is the first time I heard that it was counted from the day you had your medical.Maybe other VJ members has answer that could explain about your visa.God bless.

My Visa is valid for 4 months...(from the date of issuance) I dont know why some are 6 months valid and some are only 4 and even 3. But you are so lucky to have the visa!!!time for dancing smileys :jest: why cant i find the dancing icon now???

:dance: it's stil there. I'm pretty sure my wife's visa was valid for six months.

hello! i was also interviewed april 23. my visa was issued may 14. the expiration date is october 14. i had my medical april 9 and 14. well that's also exactly 6 months from my last medical date. i really don't know if that is a concidence. whatever....YAHOO!! i have my VISA and i will be with my honey very soon!!!
