Hello everybody!!!

My fiance has just called minutes ago to Manila US Embassy inquiring if our papers are already there. He got an answer Yes but when he asked of my interview appointment the guy told him that I am not qualify yet because they will have to review it first. He was instructed to call again after 2 weeks for the interview appointment. Is this how it works guys?

Just asking some idea. Thanks!!! Good luck everybody!!!

As far as i could remember, my fiance called DOS first and inquire about our appointment, but they just said we're documentarily qualified..and after 2 days i called the us embassy manila to have my appointment using their call center.

If you also have received a letter from the us embassy manila with ur case number on it..and stating that you can call the embassy for an appointment then you're ready to go..

That's just my experience.

Goodluck ninfa!

djturbo, things are different now. You have to call the call center now to get an appointment, they won't just give you one. Also Rodge and Ninfa, it is true you have to become documentary qualified before they give you an interview. I am not sure exactly what that means but I would call the call center in a few days.

Hi Ninfa!! Im newbie to this site. Well, regarding about for setting up your interview appointment. It's already given they will tell you "call after 2 weeks becuz were still reviewing your documents". Based on my experience I also called them April 29,2008 since I got my confirmation April 28, 2008. They told me the same. But I could not wait longer so my fiance call them May 12,2008. They set me for June 04, 2008 but we moved it June 18, 2008 Becuz were so shocked its too soon  . Now, were wishing we get the schedule but no turning back though :crying: . I will just wait for it. So, call them too soon and you can have you interview. I think theyre giving away the july slots. Goodluck!
