What type of cologne or perfume do you wear?

I used to always wear Cashmere Mist by Donna Karen, but now I pretty much find all perfumes and colognes overpowering, yes even my husband's.

Me too - sometimes on the subway in the morning I get allergy attacks from the aftershaves some guys are wearing...

I generally only wear lotions or essential oils - my favorite scents for me are jasmine, vanilla and gardenia. I have bought some oils from Black Phoenix Alchemy Lab which are heavenly - my favorite is one called Kurukulla - a blend of jasmine and lotus. I love the scent of sandalwood on a man - I have never seen Govi use any scent but I think I will give him a massage with some Mysore Sandal oil and see how he likes it.

Hmmm.. not really Perfumery is an elegant art.

Think of it as a musical metaphor.

Edited: And I love how different scents (and some herbal extracts as base) take you to a higher place, or can bring back sweet memories from the past. Aromatherapy works.

I'm pretty allergic to most perfumes/colognes. They make my throat close up and I can't breathe. When around people wearing too much of either, I like to beat them in the head until they stop moving and the blood covers up the stench of their bodies.

Perfume is for people who already stink...and are so self-absorbed that they don't think about anyone else or how they might react to having their air polluted. Oddly enough, these are mainly the same people who vote to have smoking banned from public places for the same reason.....
