Hello all, i have been reading various posts as i attempt to make out heads and tails of this process. One thing i am concerned about, is there a set income level required to sponsor your SO. I have a good job, but i also have the responsibility of supporting my two minor children. I dont think having a co sponsor is going to be a possibility, in my situation. I saw another poster report she worked a second job, but because she only worked it for 8 months, they did not consider it long enough to include into her income. I am just trying to foresee any possible issues, before we get started deep into the process. Any input is appreciated. Thanks

Level of income required is 125% of povertyline when counting self, any dependents, and the prospective immigrant.

That's interesting because when I filed, I had started my 2nd job just 3 months before. They DID include it in my income. I had a letter from the employer stating it was part-time, when I started, how much I made, and that the job was mine as long as I wanted it.

Life's just a crazy ride on a run away train

You can't go back for what you've missed

So make it count, hold on tight find a way to make it right

You only get one trip

So make it good, make it last 'cause it all flies by so fast

You only get one trip
