Hello,

I hope somebody here could help me with my dilemma. My lawyer filed my I-751 last Monday, May 12, 2008 but I haven’t gotten any receipt yet from USCIS.

My greencard will expire on Aug 02, 2008 but I am physically divorced. Will there be any issues coming back to the US if I travel with my conditional GC? I am travelling on a cruise to the Bahamas for 3 days this weekend.

Please help!!!!

:crying:

Your marital status does not preclude you from using your greencard for any intended purpose until such time that it is expired or is renewed.

YMMV

I hope this is true because my lawyer advised me not to travel until I get the stamp. I am just wondering if anybody here had the same case like mine and did not have any problems coming back to the United States.

Thank you for your reply!!!
