Hello....

I'm in Michigan this week...came down Friday and leaving this Sunday. My boyfriend and I are doing some competitions(this past weekend, and weekend coming up in Pa). So instead of driving here for 3 days, home for 3 days, and back here for 3 days...I decided to just stay. Spend time with him & save on all the driving!

Anyways, I'm writing this cause I'm just sitting here, realizing what it would be like to move here and to not be able to work for a bit. (Boyfriend is at work right now). Did a bit of cleaning around the place. I prepared dinner(bell peppers stuffed with ground beef & rice). I'll cook it in a couple hours. Just finished baking cinnamon muffins...the apartment smells so nice!!!

So, ya, just thought I'd post it.....hehe

Hope everyone back home is having a nice day off....if you're not working.

Hi,

Thanks for the replies..

We are involved in a target shooting sport. We met through it actually. I do quite a bit of it, both in Canada and in the US.

My boyfriend lives in Ypsilanti...so that's where I am now.

I've been on a baking blitz lately....I've got a banana bread with chocolate chips in the oven right now. I don't think this place has smelled as good as it has the past couple days!!

And he did appreciate coming home last night to an already made dinner, with a little extra....I'm talking about the muffins ;)

Must be something about Michigan, nothing rocks more than when I get home at night and my wife made some crazy good meal after she got home too. Opening the door and getting rushed by awesome smelling food makes life spin Lol.

My wife has been back since June 5, 2007. Now we're just livin' man, L I V I N :)

same thing here but less fun....

Basically i went here on vacation till the interview date but days are just soo terrible....

cleaning a little here and there and beeing too shy to go downstairs (he went to live with his parents back after his divorce (so this is where we are at 33 and 37yo)) to get/cook some food.... i do it sometime but it feels always weird to steal stuff from the fridge wich isn't mine.

I am happy to be with him and he does his best but for sure staying at home is definetly not for me.. or at least not at home at his family house lol.... I have such a hard time.

Enjoy your time relaxing  baking and cleaning! I laugh at what I just said, because to me, doing things like that on my OWN schedule, are relaxing. I'm an avid baker, and cook, and I was away from my husband this month for 6 days. Boy did he miss.......my cookin'! ;)
