Vermont slowing down???

Right before sending my application everyone was getting their NOAs really fast from Vermont. Now after I got my NOA1 it seems Vermont has come to a halt. Haven't seen much NOAs from them at all.

A bunch of couples got their approval in 2 weeks, and I'm going for 21 days already and nothing. Got touched 3 times in a little over a week and now it's been over a week without any touches.

Anyone else noticing this sudden stop at Vermont?

Yeah I have noticed the same thing I think it all has to do with what country the fiancé is from I notice most who file through Vermont and there fiancé is from the UK get approved very fast last time my file was touched was 3/28/06 and i am still waiting my noa1 was 3/22/06

Hey now- 3 weeks is a whole lot better than 3 months... and 1 month and even 2 months for an approval is still good!! (compared to California, Texas, and Nebraska) Hang in there, you'll hear something soon. If you ask me you're pretty lucky to go through Vermont in the first place. I guess you could say I'm somewhat jealous. Good luck!!

I had posted some time ago that Vermont was starting receive other visas from other locations such as California and Nebraska. They were not marriage based visas. This may be why Vermont is slowing down. I got this information off of USCIS's website. I think it was effective April 1st.

It could be that, just hope it doesn't slow down too much 'cus it would spoil my plans.

Once I knew I was going through Vermont and how fast it was I made some plans (that can be pushed back but wouldn't be my best option).

That is what sucks about this whole processes I can’t make any plans

Well lets hope something comes threw soon im sick of waiting myself.... uscis updated processing times about 30 mins ago they are at april 9th now!! Im calling them in the morning to see what the dilly-O is... Ile let ya know if they have anything good to say~ Kelle

So i call them this morning and the responce is i have to wait till the processing dates now reach april 28th, that they have a 30 day buisness day period for whatever after the 45 plus... it really didnt make alot of sense in my mind but they seem to have some order to there madness!!!!

Oh well i guess its just wait wait wait, so im running off to england on monday for 10 days to wait with my baby..... Kelle
