Today we got the biometrics appointment for Feb 28th. The AOS interview is on feb 17th! I am glad that we got the biometrics now than later as we had no success when we made the infopass appointment with them last week. I think they must be full up in the Denver (Aurora, Colorado) office and are making appointments after AOS interviews. Now we will just have to wait and see what all happens.

Hi did you mean you didn't get Biometrics appt. before the Interview? And you tried to get it early but you weren't able to? I'm worried sick as hell bec. i figured it will make the process longer if im gonna wait after my interview to do the biometrics. I'm also from Colorado and didn't get a biometrics appt. and only got the interview appt. this MARCH 9.

AOS Interview = 2/28/06

Biometrics = 2/25/06 (Chambers & Colfax) in Aurora, CO

We received the AOS letter 2 weeks prior to Bio.

Although, when I spoke to person at front desk at office before Christmas... he said if we came back with letter showing more than 90days... he'd let us in without appointment. Not sure if that would be valid, but perhaps could check out.

I'm also in the same boat. My wife's AOS interview is on Thursday, and still no letter of Biometrics yet. I called the USCIS, and they said that in many cases, the biometrics are scheduled after the AOS interview, and sometimes they will send you to do it same day. The USCIS rep did say she did not see any scheduled Biometrics in the system yet, so we should find out at the interview.

Surprisingly, I had submitted an EAD at the same time as the AOS, and the EAD has not been processed yet, and the AOS has. I would say it has been 6 months from application submission to AOS interview (Houston, TX office).

Currently, I'm searching through the website for information on AOS interview questions :)

But will post back with info once its all done.

Thanks.

Yes, exactly. I guess many people are in the same boat. When I went for the infopass the lady couldn't do it for us. luckily the biometrics apppoitment letter came a week after that (its schedules for 10 days after the AOS.) I am glad it is at least scheduled, so hopefully all will go smoothly and quickly. Good Luck to you and I assume you will be getting the biometrics letter in a week or two also - yes I am in Colorado (Denver/Aurora biometrics office.)
