Unfortunately they are keeping it at 5 years later when the season begins.

We are saying goodbye to Bree's daughter, Danielle, Susan's daughter, Julie, Dylan, Lynette's kids, and Mike.

The writer says "One of the problems I had with Season 2, was that I had to keep going with the previous year's stuff. I learned you have to go back to square one to build up the tension again. Finally, this year I said, 'Why don't we really mix it up?'"

So they are hitting the reset button.

I don't know, they didn't say anything about her in the article at all

I liked Edie a lot (maybe cos she's a realtor, lol)...but I always felt bad the way her character was written. NS is a great actress and she shouldnt have been relegated for such a small part. Edie could have been a very integral part of the show, but the way she's written is just like some two bit floozy.

I was quite surprised when they pulled a Battlestar Galactica (they did a leap one year ahead at the end of the 2nd or 3rd season)... I think it might be a good point to mix it all up a little...

Though one question: in season one, after Gabby lost the baby, didn't they say she won't be able to ever have children and that is why the impregnated the Chinese maid??? Or did I forget something here????
