I think I'll be giving our congresswoman a call soon. Just to see if we can get the ball rolling a little more...

Does that actually help??? If so, I'm totally up for that!! This is driving me CRAZY!! I want him here by Thanksgiving, think that's too much of a long-shot???

Huge congrats to everyone that's been approved so far!!!! As for the rest of us, do you think someday we'll all look back on this and laugh???

Yeah, me neither

My understanding is that while that used to work--back when HuskerKiev worked for USCIS (the former adjudicator who posted on here a few years ago)--our Congressional representatives can no longer do anything to move things along at USCIS as long as you are within the current processing times (right now, Feb. 2).

No kidding!!! I think I'm getting to the part in the process when it begins to seem never ending--I'd been doing pretty well with staying positive, but now I'm getting down. Hopefully lots of approvals will come through this week so that May is well underway--that would definitely perk me up!

I'm not sure...but I do have a co-worker from Russia who had our congresswoman step in for him bringing his wife over...this was back in March or April. I don't know that they actually did anything to push it through, but they did get them to look at the case, and thus caused an approval.

I'm not going to call them right away, but perhaps by mid Oct if still no touch, I will see if they can't at least get the CSC to *look* at the blasted thing.

i think they can inquire as to the current status of your case, and put it back on the radar so to speak, but i think they cant ready do much untill its outside uscis processing times.

yey congrats!!!

I hope Hannah's disappearance isn't out of frustration. :(

did i disapear? the frustraition today was mainly due to not being able to sucker punch (is that the phrase you use) a customer, who was being a complete @#:$$ today, well nasty, plus i did a shift of cleaning and shift or bar so most of my day was spent at work. and now i feel :dead: for it. blah. I'm not checking that site till Vito comes home. I know it will be no news. i'll just wait for Vito to check his mail.
