Hey I had planned on a small wedding that is turning into a huge production. How does one get this small wedding? :help:

you show her your bank balance? seriously, its quite sobering to see the numbers, i looked at the place we really want to get married at and at basic start out price for food for this year is $54 per head. not too bad you think till you multiply it  when i realised how much it would cost for food for just 100 peeps i didn't seem so intent on having so many people.

Cool and thanks Hannah and Vito. It is costing me nothing though except the honeymoon and that may be paid for too. I am heading homeward anf thought about just setting my foot down and say NO.

dude at the end of the day you are getting to marry the woman of your life and not have to pay for it, and i'm guessing not having to organise it either, whats the complaint? so you have to stand in front of 200 peeps instead or 50. i would just go with the flow

Yeah and I have been engaged before and always ran before when the plans got real huge and freaked. And the 200 figure figure is now and not including my side but hers and also told them about all this but get ignored. But to my credit I haven't ran yet. I am supposed to have a audience when I get in and said I want to have a compromise so when I get home hopefully I can present my case more fully and get one.

We will be filing in the next couple of days. The application is with Chris in the States right now and just needs his passport photo. I am constantly nervous and keep checking VJ for anything I may have missed. I guess here begins the waiting game. Once we get our stuff off to CSC I will add a signature.

Here's to staying sane through the process.

Sorry, maybe this is stupid question for someone who has been dealing with this for a while, but you said you will be filing in the next couple of days, (waiting on passport photo - needed for I-29F) but your timeline shows I-129F was filed. So what are you filing? Sorry, I just filed my I-129F last week, so I want to make sure I am not missing something. Thanks.
