Sarah and I are planning on doing some traveling around the US as much as we can...plus once she's over here, she wants to start painting hardcore again, which I really want her to do, because she's amazing! We're taking it easy on the living front, just getting a nice little apartment, so we can save up...plus teaching her how to drive (SCARY!).

And I love her to death, she's not so girlie in fashion, but you get her talking about comic books? Somehow today we got on the topic of Marvel Heroes....it was innocent enough, just a casual mention....4.5 hours she went on about it. "Oh I need to find a comic shop when I get there!" and "There's a Comic Con there in october!" and the like...lol....I don't know anything about comics, but oh well she gets to deal with my football obsession!

Speaking of which, John you wouldn't happen to be a football would you? *hopeful!*

Hey Hannah what kind of artsy stuff do you do? I know mention you were a seamstress, any other areas? If you draw or paint or anything do you have any of your work online you'd care to show?

Sorry to disapoint, but I dont even know the rules of football or any other sport enough to understand whats going on. I dont believe I've ever watched an entire sporting event.

Things I do know about are farming, esp livestock, history, esp military history, and hunting, fishing, shooting. I esp know about ####### hunting with dogs. You might say I'm the real good old boy type in a lot of ways, though I dont chew tobacco. :)

  you make me laugh john i bet she would. yeh i am of the artsy fartsy design sort but Vito understands it cos he did phototgraphy

it took me 5 years to get my ba with hons and so far no one has let me use it yet since i expected wages :( so i'm just gunna take the bull by the horns and jump to the bit where i was gunna set up on my own :D

i'm sure LA is a great place for that type of work.

I've no college, just a born and bred farmer, but so far, I've had no great income either. If only you folks would pay 2 or 3 times as much for a gallon of milk  , I'd be on easy street.

funny you mention that cos theres is a program on tv at the mo with a famous tv small holding farmer going round the country looking at our farming. in devon they said they get something 70p a gollon or if they turn it into devonshire ice cream they can charge £6 a gallon, wow what a difference. we are also seeing a lot ofspeciall rare breeds being the new thing so the farmer has a gimmic. i dont know if you are getting that in the usa. but one farmer in devon has the last milking heard of the native local cow instead of the big black and white one. he used to have the other but he said while the black and white make more milk its not as nice quality. so he went back to the brown elephant or what ever wierd name he called it

i have a degree in fashion design and a foundation in art and design, i can draw and paint you allways start out with that if you want to go into design. i have my own website but i got stuck half way through making it cos i dont have money to make my designs up and put them on there to sell. :( and its too close to the move to borrow money for that here in uk. i have some photos and drawing of designs on various places though :D

www.hannahmorganjohn.com thats a work in progress i havent touched for like months and i only have my final collection on there, in archive photos

http://www.fashionspace.com/hannahpresents another site a few more images, but i havent loaded all my work up online yet i'm being picky about what i load up. i'm not keen on just loading my illustraitions as aposed to made garments

We do get a bit of premium because we milk jersey cows

http://www.ansi.okstate.edu/breeds/cattle/jersey/

which produce more butter cream etc per gallon, but it only comes to .35 cents a gallon etc, plus a tiny bonus for hormone free milk, less than a penny per gallon.

Melannie talks about the show you mention all the time, its her favorite.

My grandpa milked a variety of the " elephants" you mention, and we still have one cow family in our herd of them. Elephant is a very fitting description. What you call friesan is also very popular here, 99% of farms have those. We call them Holstiens.

I've been looking at your clothing, it is so very cool that you can make things like that. I know Melannie will be very interested to look at it all as well. My mom and sister sometimes make clothes so I know how much work it can be. I cant imagine what it must be to come up with the pattern and everything.

oh what i didnt get taught i teach myself with a book. its actually very satisfing to come up with and make a pattern for something unusual. its just the cost. i could i guess make something, but i feel i should save that money for the collection for next year i want to sell. i may have to fix and sell the white dresses though, as i cant take them with me and they take up so much room.

bah, Sarah's taken some of her artwork down, and what she does have up I dunno if she wants it advertised (some of it contains some personal related poetry). I'll see if i can sweet talk her into taking photos of her art...

but here's a couple sketches she did while she was in Nice, France...she says they're not very good, but I beg to differ :P

They are elephants cause they are big as a house and very solid built frames. It would be easier to push a truck than one of them.
