might just be 100% silk satin instead

though charmeuse is a satin

oh thanks well if you can remember just ask them if they have 100% silk charmuse in ivory colour. though i will try and phone them tomorrow if i can find a moment. theres a full house at the hotel tomorrow and half are leaving so extra thourough cleaning. i keep telling myself think of the money you only have a few weeks left to raise some.

For myself, I'd just like to go to the courthouse with 2 friends, and maybe dinner out with a few more, but Melannie really wants the bigger wedding, and still, its not going to be that big in the grand scope of things. But its bad how quickly a little wedding adds up to ALOT of money.

My estimated budget is to keep it under $7,000, (£5,075) but that includes supplementing 1 airfare from Australia and paying for accommodation for all the international visitors.

We rented a big house for everyone to stay in, plus to have a lunch reception at for a week for $1000.

Perhaps you could do something similiar, have a reception at a place like this? Its much more affordable than renting a more traditional hall. My good friends paid something like $2000 for just one night for their wedding hall rental, which is out of the question for us.

Well, Chicago park district wants $650 just to get married on a public beach. With 10-15 guests. just standing there. for 15 minutes.

Scratch that idea.
