Today's update was a varied answer on the general. 'Your information has been reviewed, and you are eligible for an interview. It may take up to 4 weeks for this to be allocated.

I recon it will be on your doorstep next Thursday then. We had that answer and about a week later it was in my hand. :)

lets hope so! i've got my fingers crossed, it's been too long.

are you excited about your interview next week? got everything ready?

You'll be fine!

i think I finally settled on what kind of wedding I'm having..now the date. Sometime in May..hmm......but we agreed something very simple and then go on a nice honeymoon. My friend works for Hilton and can get me a family and friends discount into any Hilton resort.. I'm liking Hawaii :innocent: Disneyworld is a close second option tho!!

Yet carmen that's great news.

One thing though double check that when u fly to hawaii you don't fly over another countries soil or water as it could cause problems for sumo with immigration. I remember a bit of a discussion on here before as to if that was true or not don't remember the resolution or conclussion but there was definatly concerns as to possible problems.

Wow...I haven't been in here since I filed back in May....I need to send packet 3!...anyone else struggling with details? I am trying to organizre the damned thing and choose only a few chats to include along with emails, photos, reciepts, tickets, passport stamps etc...problem is i don't have any chat logs for December 2007 to May 2008 because my computer got a virus and Yahoo archives are lost. And anyway we didn't know how important it would be to save our chats for this visa....anyone else with the same problem?

I just recently sent in pkg 3; I had a terrible time with some of the details. Who'd have known twenty years ago that I'd have to know when I lived where???? Ugh! You've got me a little worried now, though, about all the things you're sending in... I thought the "proof of ongoing relationship" was to be taken to the interview. :help:

I have been scouring these forums for what to send in, and finally decided that it was just the DS-230 and DS156 in duplicate, both for me and my child. However, I decided to be 'safe' rather than sorry, and sent in the DS-156K and the documents it said MUST be attached.

I have spent days printing out copies of emails...there's thousands!... and MSN messenger dialogues. We have no phone records as it's cheaper to do emails and messenger chats. Why spend money if we don't have to?

I've been peeking at the timelines of some members who filed back in May, and most of them have either had their interviews, or will have them later this month.....Congrats to all of you!! Guess my interview won't be until closer to April (if I'm lucky). :crying:

(sorry if this post is confusing.... there's just sooooo much I want to say and ask)
