i just got my passport phots back signed, and hope to send off for my police report tomorrow.

how quick did everyone get theirs back?

still not heard from the nurse "director about my letter but hope to be able to get ahold of my boss tonight and ask if i can borrow his fax and get my records perhaps i will have that sorted by tomorrow too. then i can get my medical booked and just have to wait on my birthvertificate to come in the post and the docs that Vito needs to get sorted.

jessica how goes you? did you get my message about the director of uscis? hope you have found some answers from someone and that things are looking up for you soon. you both are are still in our thoughts

Hey Hannah... still no answers. I didn't try the number yet (thanks for passing it on to me!) because I'm still waiting to hear back from my congressman. We'll be at 6 months on Nov 2, which is the new current processing time, so maybe then we can get some answers, although from what I've been reading from other VJ members that are far over the average the USCIS still won't tell you anything . This stinks.

Called US consulate general, chennai today to check if they had received our package and i was suprised when the guy told me we had our interview scheduled for the 1st of Dec 2008, am still shocked as we dint expect it to be this quick, we haven't had any packet yet but he said i should have something mailed to me soon and should receive it within the next week. Am almost ready but we have so much more to do..

How is everyone else doing ?

Hey guys!!Sorry seems like 4ever ive been on this...just had a very busy few days of packing, saying goodbyes and getting my sister and friend to try on their bridesmaid dresses. Theyre stunning (so much so that im worried that the dress is better than my own hahah ) ahh well...

I got my visa on 22nd (2 days after the interview so very quick) The embassy give you option to pay considerably more to get it delieverd b4 10am ect but i wud say dont bother..i paid the 14.50 and got mine at 1pm so unless you arent in dont worry about it.

Hannah, i was worrying so much about everything..what thye wud say, what they wud ask...so just in case i bought a whole other folder containing evidence ect (altho i didnt go overboard) and the didnt ask to see it. I havnt read 1 review form london where some1s put they asked to see it. I felt better knowing i had it but dont go overboard and spend hours and hours because its pretty certain they WONT ask! Just have your paperwrk in oredr. I also had USD in exct money to pay at the counter for visa. I was so organised it was unreal (haha and very unlike me)

I fly out on 27th (this monday) i cant wait but saying goodbye to friends and family is hard - but I DO get to see most of them in jan so its not all bad and of course i get to see Andrew

cheers for that hells bells bridesmaid dresses i havent even started to make those yet or my dress, but the wedding wont be till feb earliest though most prob gunna be in april

Congrats on the Visa ! i just sent my Packet 3 back to USEM and requested for my interview date on November 7 as my fiance is getting deployed to Iraq soon

so in the UK they deliver your passport for Immigrant visa? but here in Thailand you have to go pick it up 2 days after your interview.

My fiance is taking everything to the interview. We still dont have packet 3 yet, but from the information I gathered here on VJ, nothing is mailed back to Casablanca, you bring it on the day of the interview.

It's so confusing at this stage since all the consulates are different

Call the DOS 202-663-1225 then press 1 then 0

Tell them you are checking the status on a case and they'll ask you the case number and the beneficiary's name. Every time I've called they've been nice

My lawyer finally got our financial packet done today, and I was just glancing over it, found she had listed Melannie as my fathers wife, with my sister as her daughter. Lucklily I was just able to print off a correct form from the computer. Now I have everything notarized to send off tommorrow. Boy, our lawyer was sure worth the cost.......NOT!

That is the case number you will have from now on! NVC could have given it to you too. :-)
