Hey Guys.... Just spoke with my US Senator's office, and they asked me to fax the information and permission to access my case. Anyone know if this will actually help?

I'm so excited for you guys with your interviews approaching.... I know by the time we get there you'll be totally done with this stage, but I'll still be looking to you for help! Good luck, boa sorte!!!!

I did this in about August maybe, and all they did was check on the case...They gave me the same answer with the same timelines on the USCIS. And then I got all excited because my case was touched, but then I figured out it was only touched because of my congressman's inquiry....

But you should still do it. Then at least you've touched base with your Senator regarding your case, in case you need their help later on......

you would think that they could at least be a bit more translucrent on your case as to whats taking longer? otherwise whats the point of a ruddy helpline. if tey cant help you. or at least give you information?

Amen sister, amen! I just want to know what the hold up is. I mean, it can't be the background, we both worked in children's programs for DISNEY for Pete's sake! If there was anything to find, Disney would have found it! GRR! Just give it to us already, or say no and I can start planning my relocation to Brazil...

We called andrews congressman and sent the form off to give permission to access our case. I dont know if it did anything but it gave me the security of knowing that i had done everything i possibly could to get our case approved and that in itself made me feel better  I feel really sorry for you but try to hold in there.

Hannah and vito, Im not taking too many pics. id say about 10 in total if that. They have more with the i129F package and from what i understand is that they dont ask to see further relationship evidence from uk as uk is not classed as a high visa fraud country. I am taking a 2nd folder with flight stuff, boarding passes, facbook msg, emails ect but im not going overboard and maing myslef more stressed at something they probs wont ask to see.

just thought a couple or three images from each meeting we have had together would be wise just to prove we met when we say. along with boarding passes and receipts

application for immigrant visa and alien registraiton. biographical data parts 1

its got ds 230 on the bottom

I didn't get a 230, does that mean I don't need it??? Lawyer says no, but why would you recieve it and I don't if we are both going through London?

This gives me a a stomach ache.

i think the one i got is just an example of one of the forms that i need to fill out on line

i think everyone has to fill out the forms they talk about. and i think now they get you to download them instead of sending them all to you

I think they messed up my P3 thank goodness for VJ.

how many photos are the uk couples taking to their interview? i must have more than 40 options. (meaning us together and with familly

Maybe 8. We aren't going overboard.

So can anyone tell me what administrative processing means with the NVC?

Our case has been in that status since it arrived on 10/3/08, and there's been no update...I know they say 2-4 weeks, but with so many people who have flew through the NVC, I am a bit concerned...I already have an NVC case number so what could possibly be the delay????

Weird. Maybe they're just backlogged. The only AP I know of is after the interview before they issue the visa.

just to clarify...you actually talk to someone right? you dont mean the automation system
