villaspurs, did you get my message about packet three? do you still want it? if so how should i send it?

think Vito and i need to start booking a date for the wedding. I'm getting the demands for dates again and they seem to want April but will have to depend on when we can get a day booked.

Thanks Hannah--I messaged you back :)

And what a huge relief to be able to start really planning the wedding--April will be beautiful!

I would guess you might still be able to find April locations with availability--there are probably good options still available! Is Vito calling around now or are you waiting for you to move?

I think she meant when you move over to be with Vito :)

We figured on just doing the easy way of going to the court house and getting the license done...then throw a bit of a reception party...We're going to save the major ceremony stuff for about a year after so we can have it over in England with her family.

ahh. well we need to know now so dad can get time off. and book it before anyone else does. and then the others can book flights and accomodation. plus if we leave it too late we wont get in where we want. :)

I didn't get a 230, does that mean I don't need it??? Lawyer says no, but why would you recieve it and I don't if we are both going through London?

You can do that one online. You fill it out, and then print it and it will print with a barcode. You could do it just in case! Doesn't hurt...it's just another bio sheet.

I'm kinda annoyed....DOS told me that the consulate mailed a packet out to my fiance on Friday and now I got an email from the consulate today saying they just "recently" received his packet and are in the process of scheduling and interview and will mail him his packet soon...WTH?

OOPS..sorry...DS-156 is the one that generates a barcode, not ds-230, so that's fine.

Im not gunna go OCD on evidence of relationship. Every review that ive read says that the uk consulate never asked them for it. Dont get me wrong, im still taking evidence, but im just not gunna stress myself out even more and go overboard with it al. My 1st binder (and most important binder) contains passport, passport pics, birth certificate and copies...basiclly everything theyve asked for. That way when they ask for it i can just delve into that folder and retrieve it without any hassle.

My second binder will contain eveythin else if need be, but im keeping it seperate from all the other documents. Im using it as just a backup! :star:

Don't be

According to the UK embassy page here on VJ, you need:

IV-15 Checklist

Information on how to book your medical

Medical Questionnaire

DS-230-I Part I

DS-156 x2 (Fill out online to generate barcode http://www.usembassy.org.uk/cons_new/visa/...electronic.html - Do not sign)

DS-156K (Do not sign) (K1/2 Only)

DS-157 (Male only)

Don't blame you. That's why at this point, it's all consulate specific. Morocco is a tough one, so I'm gonna go all OCD on them :P
