I think the I-134 is 100% of poverty level, for 2 people (spouse and yourself), likely $14,000 or 15,000'ish. USCIS status won't indicate (didn't for me), but calling the NVC they will tell you if it's arrived, being processed, or left for the consulate.

I don't think you need any more pictures unless you visited each other since filing the petition (as in, I doubt it would help any more unless you two were together since filing), but from talking to the Athens consulate, myself, at very least, they would like to see some phone records or emails. Ironically, the lady I talked to might be the one actually interviewing her.

I also use Vonage (VOIP), myself, and am printing out a big stack of phone records that you can find a printable version in your online account manager. It sure is going to be nice to be spending a LOT less on phone calls.

I have sent brad some proof but i will be sending the affidavits tomorrow in the morning... i have also requested the flight we travelled togather if they can trace our tickets and have anythign given to us as a proof that could validate that we have been togather.. Just hoping for the best and i hope this would be sufficient.. will let you guys know once we hear from USCIS.

I just called the NVC and they said the case was finished "electronically" and would probably be sent out today. I asked him how long it takes to reach the Mumbai consulate but he said he had no idea, just that its sent via DHL. I guess that takes a week?

Hey all! Spoke with the NVC today and they stated they received our petition this past Friday! So hopefully not long for it to get shipped out to London!

My lawyer said that the current level you need for the affidavit was $17,500 (not that I'm offering legal advice!!) and that you should submit the last year's tax returns, or the last 3 if your income was above for all three. Hope this helps!

is there anywhere we can use the LDN number to check current status of our case, and how do you know when it has left the nvc? do you have to wait for a leter from them or the packet three from the embassy to know?

also did anyone get their letter from nvc before their noa2 hardcopy? is that standard or is that bad? i worry because Vito lives in california and i find it hard to understand how nvc letter got to him beforwe the noa2?

Hannah you need to call them or email them to find out status...don't use the automated line, but hit option 5 to get a real person and just use your Receipt Number from the USCIS.

Their # is 603-334-0700

and you can email them at NVCINQUIRY@state.gov

Yes, you can call the NVC and ask the status of your case (whether it's left for the consulate yet) with that LDN number. After that, I'm not sure since every consulate is different.

I'm wondering how long it takes from Consulate to p3 to be delivered...any ideas? I know each one is different, but i'm just wondering..

Sarah's going through the hassle of getting her vaccinations...does anyone know for the DTaP vaccination, if she has been immunized for the 3 of them separately, does she still need to have the combo vaccine?

This is the first I've really been around in a few days, was best man in a wedding on Friday. I started Thursday night, didnt get it over until late last night. Who knew a wedding was such a production! Melannie assures me ours wont be.... So now, I'm back and ready to move on. Our lawyer says we should have packet 3 next week at the latest, but not sure if she really has any inkling or is just trying to placate me.

What I'm really worried about today though, is my financial packet as my bank declared bankruptcy today late and I worry this might delay our process somewhat.

I swear the stress never ends with this. I actually developed a rash from stress today, but it went away once I calmed down a bit about the bank.

good question, i think i'm ok with tetnus and dip but dont think i have done the whooping cough bit (petuissis or how ever you spell it) i may be coming up to needing a renewal of tetnus though. if you have to really renew every 10 yrs? i wonder if you can get them done seperatly?
