IV Fee Online Payment (a bit too early?)

Hi everyone,

When I paid my AOS fee online, the IV status was "Not Invoiced". So today being bored and all I logged in to the NVC Online and I noticed that the status changed to "Not Paid" so I went ahead and paid it online and now the status shows as "In Process".

I have no clue whether the IV bill was generated or not (IVR still says NVC has received you DS3032, wait a few weeks for instructions) but I guess the status change online must mean something... Oh well :-) I'll let everyone knows in a couple of days if I'm out the $400 :blink:

05/05/08 Emailed DS3032 to NVC (Didn't wait for AVR to say it was generated)

5/13/08 Email Reply from VNC accepting DS3032 and they said don't send a hard copy. Email alone was OK

05/13/08 AVR says: DS3032 and AOS bill generated.

05/13/08 Got IIN from NVC and paid $70 online. Status: Pending

05/15/08 Status now shows: Paid.

05/16/08 Mailed my AOS/I864 package.

05/17/08 IV fee status online shows as "Not Paid" as opposed to "Not invoiced" before, so I just paid the $400.

05/17/08 IV fee status is now "In Process"

05/19/08 IV fee bill status "Paid"

05/20/08 Sent DS-230 -regular mail-

05/21/08 AVR Update: "The NVC is awaiting the return of the biograhic froms from the petitioner"

05/22/08 AVR Update: "The NVC has reviewed your packets and forms and found information missing of incorrect"

06/02/08 AVR Update: "Case Complete"

06/10/08 Operator says interview scheduled for 07/15

you have to put a case number on the top right hand corner of every document you submit...i-864, pay stubs, tax transcripts, etc.....

NVC Journey Total days: 75

06.18.2008: Case Complete (So upset that it took this long 37days)

US Embassy:

yup even mine was showing as paid as of today morning.. and i am able to print the cover sheet online.. i am puting together my husbands ds230 now and wil be mailing it tom inshallah may 21...

We find it is OK to print DS-230 barcode, and already send the package today.

Did you hear any auto message says your I-864 was accepted? I have not heard anything after we send.

My Status went to paid this morning and I called to make sure it was ok to send DS-230. Go the thumbs up by a live operator and off to the post office I went. Sent the DS-230, Express Mail, and the USPS says it will deliver next day by noon.

Looks like we are all on a close path through the NVC. Let's stay in touch with any isues (praying there are none, for any of us), and updated timelines.

I am hoping we can finish NVC by the end of May and get a June Interview date. My wife told me she is soooooooooooooo ready to get our life started together.

2008 05 13 : DS 3032 Accepted (Spouse - Received e-mail confirmation)

2008 05 23 : DS 230 Entered into system by NVC

2008 06 02 : Case Complete

2008 06 12 : Case Forwarded (Embassy - Lima, Peru)

2008 06 20 : Appt Letter received

EMBASSY - LIMA

2008 06 26 : Medical Exam - 9 AM (Picked up results 07/01)

2008 07 03 : Interview - 10 AM (DENIED - RENIEC ENDOREMENT MISSING)

2008 07 07 : Submit RENIEC Endoresed Marriage Cert.

2008 07 10 : Passport & Visa (Pick-up at DHL Facility - Lima)

2008 07 15 : San Francisco (midnight)

2008 08 19 : SSC Received (Had to re-file at SSA Office)

2008 08 04 : I-551 Received

2008 08 26 : Permanent Employment (HR Asst. Int'l Firm)

I'm not sure if there is a AVR message for accepting the I-864 but it should say something like

"The NVC has received your financial evidence -and found information missing or incomplete-" but from the posts it looks like they would be just waiting for the DS-230 to be processed.

I still have not gotten that one on the AVR yet... (I was lazy and sent everything in regular mail :-)) but I'm hoping by next AVR update we should hear something good (Tuesday usually)

Also, someone was saying that if you get the above AVR message, then your case is likely to be completed -faster- as soon as they get the DS-230.

My guess is that my case won't be completed in may but maybe in early June... I'm cool either way because after all the headaches with I-130 I feel like I'm way ahead. Go NVC :-)

04/29/08 NOA2 Approval notice

05/02/08 Case @ NVC & Case # assigned

05/05/08 Emailed DS3032 to NVC (Didn't wait for AVR to say it was generated)

5/13/08 Email Reply from VNC accepting DS3032 and they said don't send a hard copy. Email alone was OK

05/13/08 AVR says: DS3032 and AOS bill generated.

05/13/08 Got IIN from NVC and paid $70 online. Status: Pending

05/15/08 Status now shows: Paid.

05/16/08 Mailed my AOS/I864 package.

05/17/08 IV fee status online shows as "Not Paid" as opposed to "Not invoiced" before, so I just paid the $400.

05/17/08 IV fee status is now "In Process"

05/19/08 IV fee bill status "Paid"

05/20/08 Sent DS-230 -regular mail-

05/21/08 AVR Update: "The NVC is awaiting the return of the biograhic froms from the petitioner"

05/22/08 AVR Update: "The NVC has reviewed your packets and forms and found information missing of incorrect"

06/02/08 AVR Update: "Case Complete"

06/10/08 Operator says interview scheduled for 07/15
