Scientists are trying to kill God. What should we do to scientists so we can take this world back from their evil clutches?

  1. 1. Scientists are trying to kill God. What should we do to scientists so we can take this world back from their evil clutches? You may pick more than one.

    • Ban science education in school
      2
    • Ban science education in college
      2
    • Round up all scientists and gas 'em
      2
    • Round up all scientists and incarcerate 'em
      3
    • Gas or incarcerate only the smart ones. The dumb scientists are no threat anyway, they will do as we say.
      5
    • Infiltrate God-fearing agents of change into the ranks of scientists, destroy them from within
      4
    • Declare science departments as supporters of terror, freeze their funds and make it illegal for them to recieve new funds
      5
    • Cultivate a popular culture, via the mass media, that creates revulsion for eggheads and contempt for their findings
      4
    • None of the above, God needs to die!

There's a third possibility....science and religion co-existing peacefully without either one trying to undermine the other.

exactly

"The fact that we are here today to debate raising America’s debt limit is a sign of leadership failure. It is a sign that the U.S. Government can’t pay its own bills. It is a sign that we now depend on ongoing financial assistance from foreign countries to finance our Government’s reckless fiscal policies."

As long as people don't confuse science for religion or let religion explain science, then they can co-exist, unopposed to one another.

Even though there are people on both sides of the fence who ignorantly try to compare and invalidate the other; Science and spirituality have nothing to do with one another. The bible is not about science. And science has nothing to do with spirituality.

The world being created in 7 days was metaphorically speaking.

According to the Internal Revenue Service, the 400 richest American households earned a total of $US138 billion, up from $US105 billion a year earlier. That's an average of $US345 million each, on which they paid a tax rate of just 16.6 per cent.

Or every Baptist I knew back in my "Church Days"...

Lady, people aren't chocolates. Do you know what they are mostly? Bastards. ####### coated bastards with ####### filling. But I don't find them half as annoying as I find naive bobble-headed optimists who walk around vomiting sunshine.

Or every Baptist I knew back in my "Church Days"...

Two weekends ago, my husband had the distinct pleasure of offering a fire-breathing Southern Baptist a ride home from work after the guy couldn't get a ride. My husband thought he was being nice. The road to Hell is paved in good intentions. From the account, the guy was a living Chick tract. I am not sure why he accepted a ride from 'Satan', ie, my husband. Maybe he thought he could save another misguided soul wearing an Entombed t-shrit. Anyway, it was quite a 7-8 miles while this guy witnessed non-stop. My husband was suprised such people existed. He had never dealt with a Christian so persistant. I said "WELCOME TO AMERICA!".:dance:
