Hi guys,

I hope everyone had a pleasant weekend. I have a question. My NOA 2 should be here in a week or teo and I am starting to wonder if I should get things like my W2's and paystubs together for the I-134. Can anyone who went through Casa tell me exactly what I need to send Hicham for the interview? I know they want a statement from the bank (saying what exactly?), my W2's for the past 3 years, and also my paystubs. Is that right? I have done some reading on what to send but I just want to be sure. I am not positive that I can locate all of my W2's for the past 3 years so I might need to have new ones sent to me. As long as paystubs go... I don't know that I have more than 1 or 2 - should I or can I get more? And as far as the letter from the bank, what does it need to say or have included?

Also, my kind brother is co sponsoring us so what exactly do I need to get from him? I don't know if he has everything laying around either so I should probably start asking him to get copies of his W2's etc. to send. One more thing- should the W2's and paystubs be the originals or copies?

Thanks in advance I appreciate your help as usual!

Sarah

Well they never asked for our I-134 however I had everything there for him. The originial I-134 that is notarized. Pay stubs (mine were copies since I have direct deposit and the reciept is delivered to my e-mail), I didn't have a letter from the bank but had my membership info. List of deposits for as like 6 months or so (as long as they would show me back). A letter from my employer showing how long I worked there and what the pay rate was. And the W2's, but since I didn't make enough to file it wasn't really too pertinent. My co-sponsor was my dad and he had everything that I did. So everything you include have your co-sponsor include too. Hope that helps some!

Thank you! That helps a lot. As far as the letter from my employer goes... should my boss address it to anyone or what should she write? Should she say how long I have been working there, how much I get paid and how many hours a week I work normally? Thanks!!!!!! I really appreciate it.

Sarah, I posted on here what I sent to Simo for his interview. Of course you may need to revise it to fit your needs. Good luck and if you need any help, feel free to ask.

Thank you so much! I am printing that list out as we speak. One more thing, for the paystubs, do you think if I call my work it is possible to have that stuff sent to me? Or is it not that big of a deal because I am having my brother co sponsor? Thanks,

Sarah

Honestly I dont think they are that big a deal if you have already filed your 2005 taxes and have a few recent bank statements showing your deposits. I sent some, but they never asked for them. Matter of fact, they never looked at any of it. They asked him how much I made, where I work and what I do....things like that, but never looked at any of the supporting evidence. The fact that you have a co-sponsor, that is who they will be more interested in as far as money goes.

Thank you! I have found a couple of W2's from 2004 and 2005 and those say who I work for and how much I make so I am not goign to stress out over the paystubs. I guess I will just include some of my reecent bank statements of deposits but not a letter from my bank?

Thanks,

Sarah

I never had a letter from the bank. Just the letter from my employer and then the bank statements which showed my direct deposits and who they were from. Honestly, since you have a co-sponsor I would not worry about it much. I think you are fine as long as the co-sponsor has all their stuff.

Do you have your tax returns for the past 3 years? Those go with the W2s. If you don't have them there is an 800 number for the IRS that you can call to have them sent to you. They send transcripts which are acceptable and will arrive in less than 10 days normally.

If you need the number let me know and I'll look it up and post it for you.

This is what I did too, I called the IRS and got the last three years worth of taxes sent to me via mail. I got a letter from the bank stating how long my acct has been open, that I was in good standing, my SS#, name, address, and how much I deposited in 2005 and YTD deposits for 2006. They also included my current balance.

I also included a letter from my employer stating how long i have been employed and what my salary is.

Hope that helps. :star:
