when do applications/receipts get updated/touched?

Hi all,

This is the first time I'm posting, but I've been reading the forum for the past week.

My biometrics were on 03.13 and I751 application was last touched on 03.14.

But today I noticed something on my portfolio that made me wonder ........

My I485 was approved on 03.31.06. But my portfolio says that the last time it was touched was on 12.02.07.............. .........what is all this about?????

Any suggestions?

If you already had the letter of approval you don't have to worry to much about the update... many people said that their cases were approved with any touches.

There doesn't seem to be any rhyme or reason to updates or touches. Some activities do seem to generate touches, others don't. The problem is that some of the same activities that generate touches for one person doesn't generate a touch for another so there is no predictability. There are some people who still have a pending message waiting on their case status page - and they have already received the benefit for which they applied. Don't worry about being confused - it is confusing - and don't put a lot of reliance on their information you see there - it is often out of date as well.
